Firmware Version-Up Information
6.5.1.
Process Flow (1/2)
Collect ROM 
Files
(Copy files into
CD-R/RW)
Load disc into
unit
(To update rate) 
Check Correct
ROM file type
Check ROM
version type
Load the disc into the set 
(To be updated).
ROM files doesn’t fit to the 
product type.
Update not Necessary
There are 2 files:
A) Syscon ROM file type:
DVD_S41B.ROM (Sample)
DVD_S41D.ROM (Sample)
(supports chinese fonts OSD
display)
B) Opecon ROM file type:
DVD_P00.ROM (Single tray)
DVD_P01.ROM (Changer)
Press [OK] in remote controller
to start updating proccess after 
the following signal appear:
If the ROM files doesn’t fit for 
the product type, then CD 
update "STOP" and display 
as below:
If the ROM files has the same 
(latest) version or an older 
version than the product:
Press [OPEN/CLOSE] in 
remote controller to 
CANCEL update.
Update stop 
(Wrong ROM Type)
Update stop 
(product has the latest
 firmware)
User can put both files 
into the same root 
directory. DVD MODEL 
will choose the right 
ROM files to update 
its firmware.

This section illustrates the checking procedures when upon detecting the error of “F61” and/or “F76” after power up of the unit. It is
for purpose of troubleshooting and checking in SMPS, D-Amp & Main P.C.B.

  If the fan not proper connected,

Check all the supply line VDD
Re-connect the Fan to CN5704

Touch-up the solder crack area/
