* Lead Check Function: If both freezer temperature control button and power freeze button are pressed at the same time for
more than one second, all LEDs in control display are on and return to its previous normal conditions when buttons are
released.
* Freezer Fan RPM Variable Check: In case of freezer fan is in operation, when both freezer temperature control button and
power freeze button are pressed for more than one second at the same time, freezer fan RPM changes from high speed to
normal speed for thirty seconds. After thirty seconds, it returns to its original RPM. Freezer fan motor does not require
twenty seconds delay.
2-11. Ice Dispenser and Water Dispenser
1. It is possible to get ice and water without opening the refrigerator door.
2. Ice or water will be dispensed when dispenser switch (rubber button) is pressed after selecting ice (cube or crushed) or
water. If ice is selected, duct door will open by duct door solenoid when dispenser press switch is pressed. Duct door
shall be closed five seconds after press switch is released.
3. Ice and water shall not be dispensed when refrigerator door is open.
4. Geared motor and solenoid (cube and water) shall be automatically off if there is no off signals in three minutes after
dispenser switch is pressed. Solenoid (duct door) shall stop five seconds after it is off. (to prevent coil cut due to solenoid
overheating)
5. Dispenser Lamp On/Off Functions
Dispenser lamp shall be on and off when dispenser press switch is pressed and released respectively.
6. Water/Crushed Ice/Ice Cube selection functions
1) Water/Crushed Ice/Ice Cube shall be selected by user in the control display and indicated in the display by pressing
selection button.
2) When power is first on, crushed ice is automatically selected.
3) If crushed ice is selected and there is ice in the ice bank, geared motor shall operate to dispense crushed ice when
dispenser switch is pressed.
4) If Ice Cube is selected and there is ice in the ice bank, geared motor and ice solenoid shall operate to dispense
Ice Cube when dispenser press switch is pressed.
7. Water Dispenser Functions
1) If user selects water in the control display, LED is indicated and selected.
2) As water dispenser is directly connected to the water tap, water shall be supplied by opening water solenoid valve
which is fixed at right side of machine room when user select water in the control display and press dispenser press
switch.

3. PWB Circuits
3-1. Electric Power Circuit
Electric power circuit is composed of Sub PWB which reduces noise and SMPS (Switching Mode Power Supply). SMPS
consists of rectifier (BD1,CE1) which converts AC voltage to DC voltage, switching parts (IC11) which switches the rectified
DC voltage, trans parts which transmit, energy from the primary to the secondary, secondary electric power which supplies
electricity to MICOM and IC, and feed back parts (IC10, IC12) which feed back to the primary trans in order to maintain
constant secondary voltage.
NOTE :
• High voltage (DC 310V) is maintained at electric power terminals. Unplug power cord from the outlet and wait for
three minutes before taking measures if power circuit is wrong. Be care of electric shock.
3-2. Oscillation Circuits
This circuit is for clock generation for synchronizing transmission and reception of information of internal logic element of
IC1 (MICOM). Use standard oscillation when oscillation spec is changed as time calculated by IC1 changes or can not work.
3-3. Reset Circuit
This is the circuit by which all functions start from the initial conditions by initializing many parts such as RAM in the MICOM
when electricity is first on or electricity is reapplied to MICOM by momentary power cut. Low voltage is applied to the reset
terminal of MICOM for 10ms when electricity is first applied. Reset terminal is 5 voltage for general operation. (MICOM does
not operate when reset IC is fault.)

3-4. Load/Dispenser Operation, Buzzer Driving, Door Opening Sensor Circuits.
1. Load Driving Circuit
* Freezer fan motor stops operation when freezer or refrigerator door is open. But it works when refrigerator door is closed.
*  A  B  C  D  of freezer and refrigerator door switch are switch ends which detect door opening and are connected to door
opening sensor circuit.
* Home Bar door switch is connected to the refrigerator door switch  C  D  in parallel. It can detect if one of these doors is
open.
