the scope of METI Ministerial ordinance No. 85 is 
properly used in accordance with its marked 
ratings, requirements of 1.5.4, 2.8.7 and 3.2.5

shall comply with relevant standard sheet of IEC

on the visible place of the main body or written in 
the operating instructions:   
“Provide an earthing connection before the mains 
plug is connected to the mains. And, when 
disconnecting the earthing connection, be sure to 
disconnect after pulling out the mains plug from the 
mains.”
