When no error occurs in this unit, data “00” is written in the above
addresses (87 to 8A). when first error occurs in the unit, the data
corresponding to the error is written in the first emergency ad-
dress (87). In the same way, when the second error occurs, the
data corresponding to the error is written in the second emergency
address (88).
Finally, when the last error occurs, the data corresponding to the
error is written in the last emergency address (8A).
Note: After completing adjustments, be sure to initialize the data
of addresses 87 to 8A to “00”.

Codes corresponding to the errors which occur are written in 19
page, addresses 87 to 8A. The type of error indicated by the code
are shown in the following table.

• Before setting the data , select page: 0, address: 01, and set data:
01.
• For page A, the data set will be recorded in the non-volatile
memory by pressing the PAUSE (Write) button of the adjust-
ment remote commander. In this case, take note that the test
mode will not be exited even when the main power is turned off
(8.4 Vdc).
• After completing adjustments/repairs, be sure to return the data
of this address to 00, and press the PAUSE (Write) button of the
adjustment remote commander. And select page: 0, address: 01,
and set data: 00.

Bit Value Discrimination
Bit values must be discriminated using the display data of the ad-
justment remote commander for the following items.  Us the table
below to discriminate if the bit value is “1” or “0”.
(Example) If the remote commander display is “8E”, bit value from
bit 7 to bit 4 can be discriminated from the column A,
and those from bit 3 to bit 0 from column B.

Using method:
1) Place the camcorder in horizontal state.
2) Select page: 7, address: 95, 97 and 99 to 9B.
3) Read the displayed data and check that the data values are
within respective specified values.
Note 2: For the address: 99 to 9B, the data values will vary de-
pending on how the camcorder is placed.
If the data values are out of the specified ranges, re-place
the camcorder correctly up to three times and if even once
the data values are within the specified values, the sen-
sor is normal.
