Apply grease (G-48) to the gear area of the AF Gear Assy.

Bond (B-10): J-6082-612-A

1  Align the groove inside the Zoom Ring Assy with the Potentiometer Assy, and then install the Zoom Ring Assy to the main unit.
2.  Turn the Zoom Ring Assy clockwise until the setting part at the Zoom Joint Plate aligns with the insertion part at the Zoom Joint Plate.

3.  Attach the Zoom Joint Plate to the setting part at the Zoom Joint Plate A.
Note:

  Insert the end of the Zoom Joint Plate into the insertion part at the Zoom Joint Plate.

4.  Tighten the two screws and apply bond (B-10).
5.  Attach the Zoom Joint Plate to the setting part at the Zoom Joint Plate B.
Note:

  Insert the end of the Zoom Joint Plate into the insertion part at the Zoom Joint Plate.

6.  Attach the Brush Retainer Plate then attach the Zoom Brush, and then tighten the two screws
7.  Adjust the Zoom Brush position, and then apply bond (B-10).

Bond (B-10): J-6082-612-A

1.  Install the 1st Group Adjust Washers.
2.  Install the 1st Group Assy while aligning the three projections of the 1st Group Assy with the three notches of the 1st Group Slip Bayonet.
3.  Apply bond (B-10) to the indicated portion, and then install the Retainer.

four threads from the eyepiece
side of the 1st Group Slip.

1.  Turn the Middle Barrel of the Focus Ring Assy clockwise to the maximum.
2.  Turn the lens inside the main unit clockwise to the maximum.
3.  Align the Zoom Encoder Board with the Aperture Function Lever and also align the three claws with the three grooves, and then install 

the Focus Ring Assy to the main unit.

4.  Push portion A of the 1st Group Slip to lock the three claws.
5.  Engage the three bosses with the three boss holes.
6.  Tighten the four screws.

Fully turn the Middle Barrel

1.  Align the Potentiometer Assy with the groove of the Potentiometer Lever and also align the three notches with the three grooves of the 

Bayonet, and then install the Middle Barrel to the Focus Ring Assy.

2.  Turn the Middle Barrel approx. 20 degrees counterclockwise.
3.  Insert the Potentiometer Lever into the groove of the Potentiometer Lever.
4.  Tighten the screw.
