Note: The VOL KNOB (Ref. No.104) of the STR-ZA1000ES has been changed 
 
in the midway of production. Therefore, when replacing the VOL KNOB 
 
of the STR-ZA1000ES, be sure to refer to the following before replacing 
 the 
VOL 
KNOB.
 
Replacement procedure
 
1. Remove the VOL KNOB (Ref. No.104).
 
2. Check whether there is a BASE KNOB (Ref. No.106).
    
    Alternatively, check a part number engraved on the back side of the 
    VOL KNOB.
 
3. Refer the following identification method, and then replace with 
 
    a VOL KNOB of the applicable type.
 
Identification method
 
Former type VOL KNOB:
 
• There is no BASE KNOB (Ref. No.106).
 
• Part number engraved on the back side of the VOL KNOB is “4-534-620”.
 
New type VOL KNOB:
 
• There is a BASE KNOB (Ref. No.106).
 
• Part number engraved on the back side of the VOL KNOB is “4-558-835”.
