SPECIAL MENU MODE
Procedure:
1. Press the I
/1
button to turn on the main power, then while pressing the 
[MEMORY/ENTER]
  button, press the [MUSIC],  [INPUT
MODE], [MOVIE] button in order.
2. The message “MENU SPECIALIZED!” appears.
3. Each time the [MENU] dial is turned clockwise, the item is switched in order as follows.
4. To release from this mode, while pressing the 
[MEMORY/ENTER]
 button, press the [MUSIC], [INPUT MODE], [MOVIE] button in order
again.
5. The message “MENU SPECIALIZED OFF” appears.

Reset control form the main system controller side and the reset
control from the PC side interfere mutually when updating the
HDMI controller and it becomes writing NG
Therefore, when this mode is set to ON, the reset control from the
main system controller side is not done
X.XX: Sub system controller software version
XXX: ON or OFF (switching with  –/+  dail)
Fan control on/off is switched.
XXX: Communication retry count from main system controller
side to sub system controller side
XXXXX: Status in main system controller when communicating
with sub system controller side from main system controller side
XXX: Busy counter of Tx/Rx
XXXXXXXXX: Last command forwarded to sub system controller
XXX: ON or OFF (switching with  –/+  dial)
Reset control from the main system controller side and the reset
control from the PC side interfere mutually when updating the sub
system controller and it becomes writing NG
Therefore, when this mode is set to ON, the reset control from the
main system controller side is not done

Press the [MEMORY/ENTER] button

board.

3. Perform the MEMORY CREARING MODE.
4. Press the [ON SCREEN] button on the remote commander to
display “ON SCREEN [ON]”.
5. Turn the [MAIN MENU] dial to display “CUSTOMIZE”.
6. Turn the [MENU] dial to display “COLOR SYSTEM”.
7. Turn the  –/+  dial to select NTSC.
8. Adjust the CT3503 so that the frequency counter reading is
3.579545 MHz.
9. Turn the  –/+  dial to select PAL.
10. Adjust the CT3504 so that the frequency counter reading is
4.433618 MHz.

Setting:
Procedure:
1. Connect a color pattern generator to the DVD CONPOSITE
VIDEO IN jack (J3401) on the VIDEO board, and connect an
oscilloscope to the MONITOR OUT VIDEO jack (J3401) on
the VIDEO board.
2. Input color bars signal from the color pattern generator.
3. Adjust the RV3502 on the ILINK board so that the Vp-p value
of waveform becomes 1Vp-p 
± 2%.
