2-25.  SYSTEM  BOARD
1 Remove the two solders of battery terminals.

SECTION  3
TEST  MODE
1.  SETTING  THE  TEST  MODE
Note: Test mode is impossible when battery voltage is not enough. Do 
work using the battery with suffi cient battery level.
Setting method:
1.  Equip this unit with battery.
2.  Slide the [POWER] switch in the direction of “ON” until the 
window display appears.

3.  While pressing the [F1] and [T-MARK] keys, slide the 
[HOLD] switch in the direction of “ON” or “OFF” (Either 
“ON” or “OFF” is OK).

4.  While pressing the [F1] and [T-MARK] keys, slide the [HOLD] 
switch in the direction opposite to that specifi ed in step 3. 
5.  While pressing the [F1] and [T-MARK] keys, slide the [HOLD] 
switch in the direction opposite to that specifi ed in step 4. 
6.  The test mode menu is displayed, and enter the test mode. Re-
lease the [F1] and [T-MARK] keys.

4.  OPERATION  OF  THE  TEST  MODE
4-1. Version
Model name, destination, ARM version, OMF version, system 
version, eMMC capacity, unique ID, board discrimination number 
and board ID can be confi rmed.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.
 
(Refer to “SETTING THE TEST MODE” on page 22)
2.  Press the [
v
] or [
V
] keys to select the “Version”, and press the 
[
N
] key.
3.  Model name, destination, ARM version, OMF version and sys-
tem version are displayed on page 1/3 of LCD display. Press 
the [
>
] key, eMMC capacity and unique ID are displayed on 
page 2/3 of LCD display. Press the [
>
] key, board discrimi-
nation number and board ID are displayed on page 3/3 of LCD 
display.

It can change into the sleep state for standby current value mea-
surement.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.

] keys to select the “Sleep”, and press the

] key.
3.  The sleep state selection screen is displayed.
 
This unit shifts to the sleep state by pressing the [T-MARK] 
key.

 STOP] key, return to test mode menu.
4-3. Deep Sleep
It can change into the deep sleep state for standby current value 
measurement.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.
 
(Refer to “SETTING THE TEST MODE” on page 22)
2. Press 
the 
[>] or [.] keys to select the “Deep Sleep”, and 
press the [N] key.
3.  The deep sleep state selection screen is displayed.
 
This unit shifts to the deep sleep state by pressing the [T-
MARK] key, and display is turned off.
Releasing method:
Press the [x STOP] key, return to test mode menu.
4-4.  Off Deep Sleep
It can change into the off deep sleep state for standby current value 
measurement.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.
 
(Refer to “SETTING THE TEST MODE” on page 22)
2. Press 
the 
[
v
] or [
V
] keys to select the “Off Deep Sleep”, and 
press the [
N
] key.
3.  The off deep sleep state selection screen is displayed.
 
This unit shifts to the off deep sleep state by slide the [POW-
ER] switch in the direction of “OFF”, and display is turned off.
Releasing method:
Slide the [POWER] switch in the direction of “ON”, and press the 
[x STOP] key, return to test mode menu.

4-5. Power Down
It can change into the power off state.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.
 
(Refer to “SETTING THE TEST MODE” on page 22)
2.  Press the [v] or [V] keys to select the “Power Down”, and 
press the [
N
] key.
3.  The power down selection screen is displayed.
 
This unit shifts to turn the power off by slide the [POWER] 
switch in the direction of “OFF”, and release the test mode.
4-6. LCD Offset
LCD contrast can be adjusted.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.
 
(Refer to “SETTING THE TEST MODE” on page 22)
2.  Press the [v] or [V] keys to select the “LCD Offset”, and press 
the [
N
] key.
3.  Adjustment of LCD contrast becomes available.

4-7. LCD/Led/Light
The lighting check of LCD can be performed.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.
 
(Refer to “SETTING THE TEST MODE” on page 22)
2. Press 
the 
[
v
] or [
V
] keys to select the “LCD/Led/Light”, and 
press the [
N
] key.
3.  LCD display pattern is displayed as shown in the following 
fi gure.
