8.  Connect PC and “WALKMAN” with the USB cable for the 

WM-PORT (accessory).

with        facing upward, 
making sure the
connection is secure.

9. Confi rm that the USB connection screen is displayed on 

“WALKMAN”, and confi rm that charge is performed normal-
ly.

Note 2: If the USB connection screen is not displayed, swipe the status bar 

on the top of the screen then tap “USB connected” on the notifi ca-
tion panel.

Before turning off USB storage, unmount

(”eject”) your Android’s USB storage from

your computer.

10. Assemble “WALKMAN” completely, and the confi rming  is 

completed.

Note 1: After work is completed, uninstall the service mode tool abso-

lutely.

  (Refer to “3. UNINSTALLING METHOD OF THE SERVICE 

MODE TOOL” on page 25 about procedure)

Note 2: When this unit connects with some site in order to perform the 

operation check (When the connection with WiFi and the opera-
tion check of browser, etc. are performed etc.), the WiFi setting 
list and the history of browser, etc. remain on this unit.

 

    In that case, perform reset and initialization with reference to 

page 4.

 

    (When initialization is performed, all user informations are 

cleared)

Note 1: When removing battery assy (Ref. No. BAT1) from the adhe-

sive sheet (BATT), it is not re-used. Be sure to exchange it for 
new parts.

When battery assy (Ref. No. BAT1) is replaced, refer to “4-3. 
BATTERY” on page 31.

When the battery wire is removed, refer to “ABOUT THE 
HANDLING OF THE BATTERY ASSY (BAT1)” on page 4.

Note 2: 
•  The EMMC board or the MAIN board cannot exchange with single. 

When exchanging the EMMC board or the MAIN board, exchange it 
at the same time as the EMMC board and the MAIN board.

•  When MAIN board is replaced, the data writing processing etc. are 

necessary. For details, refer to “NOTE THE MAIN BOARD (IN-
CLUDING EMMC BOARD) REPLACING” on page 5.

•  For the handling of the MAIN board, refer to “NOTE OF MAIN
