2-3. Other generated voltages (2.8V_REG/OEL_VCC/LED_VCC)
Fig.2-2 shows the generated voltages other than the voltages generated by Power Control IC9001.
1. 2.8V voltage
When 3.3V_A voltage is supplied from Power Control IC9001, it is supplied to pin-1[VIN] and pin-6 [CE] of +2.8V REGULATOR IC3001. Then IC3001 starts up. And IC3001
generates +2.8[V] and outputs it from pin-3[VOUT] to D/A CONVERTER IC3002 and HP Amplifier IC3003 as 2.8V_REG voltage.
2. OEL_VCC voltage
Refer to “2-6. Power Control by PLD IC8001” on page 17.
3. LED_VCC voltage (20[V])
When VB voltage is input to pin-5 [VIN] of IC8302, IC8302 starts up. And also, when 3.0V voltage generated by IC9001 is supplied to pin-4 [EN] of IC8302, IC8302 starts
operation. The circuit operates as follows. The step-up DC-DC converter circuit inside IC8302 controls the duty ratio of the PWM waveform which is output from pin-1 [SW],
with monitoring the voltage input to pin-3 [VFB] of IC8302. By this operation, the step-up circuit works, and the LED_VCC voltage (20[V]) is generated.

2-4. Operation during Sleep Mode
When any of the following conditions to enter the sleep mode is satisfied, the main system controller IC6005 puts the machine into the sleep mode.
“Conditions for entering the sleep mode”
“Conditions for entering the sleep mode”
About 30 seconds have passed in the STOP state when the machine is operating on battery (This condition depends on the user setting.)
When OPTION button of the unit is pressed for more than 1.5 seconds
When Power Down is selected on the menu
When STOP button of the remote controller is pressed for more than 1.5 seconds
When the unit detects “Low BATT”.
When OPTION button of the unit is pressed for more than 1.5 seconds
When Power Down is selected on the menu
When STOP button of the remote controller is pressed for more than 1.5 seconds
When the unit detects “Low BATT”.
When any of the above conditions is satisfied, the main system controller IC6005 stores the following data into the Flash Memory IC7002:
RESUME data
Audio setup data (VOLUME setup data, SOUND setup data)
etc.
Audio setup data (VOLUME setup data, SOUND setup data)
etc.
When the main system controller IC6005 is ready to enter the sleep mode, it outputs the sleep command to PLD IC8001. Then, PLD IC8001 outputs “H” signal from
pin-23[POWER_SLEEP]. By this “H” signal, Power Control IC9001 sets the operation to the sleep mode. When IC9001 enters the sleep mode, the WAKE(INT) signal goes
“L”.
= Technical Tip =
During the sleep mode, only the following ICs are active. (Main System Controller IC6005 and PLD IC8001 are not active in the sleep mode.)
POWER CONTROL IC9001
Real Time Clock IC4101

2-5. RESET Circuit
Fig.2-3 shows the reset circuit of the model.
When the pin-51 [XRST3] terminal of IC9001 becomes “Open” state, 3.3V voltage is supplied as the master reset signal, XRST, via the pull-up resistor, R6054. Then, 3.3V
voltage is supplied to ICs shown in Table.2-5 as AF_XRST signal via NOT IC6007 and IC6006.
