Regarding the details of white balance adjustment procedure,

1. Confirm the set condition.
2. Connect the white balance jig.
3. Display the Adjustment mode screen via RS-232C command.

Setting

࣭Set the MIN level for point,and measure the luminance.
ࠉMeasure luminance is increase 100 times, integer is 
ࠉadjustment value.(a faction is round off.)
࣭Set the MIN1 level for point,and measure the luminance.
  Measure luminance is increase 10 times, integer is 
ࠉadjustment value.(a faction is round off.)
࣭Set the MIN2 level for point,and measure the luminance.
  Measure luminance is increase 10 times, integer is 
ࠉadjustment value.(a faction is round off.)
࣭Set the MIN3 level for point,and measure the luminance.

1. HDMI-CEC Inspection

After repairing the CEC function, check the operation about HDMI-CEC circuit

2. CI card Inspection

After repairing the CI function, check that the DTV signal is received by inserting CAM.
And check the KEY certifi cation by inserting CAM which is prepare for CI+.

3. LAN/NET/SD CARD Connection Check

After repairing the LAN/NET/SD CARD function, check the c ommunication by connecting PC and LAN 

terminal.

And test connectivity of SD card.

4. 3D picture Check

With the signal for 3D check, it checks being displayed normally.

5. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi communication Check

Bluetooth: Please check that it is connectable using a general-purpose Bluetooth devices.
WiFi: Please check that it is connectable using a general-purpose WiFi router.

6. Operation manual Check.

CAUTION: When the factory settings have been made, all user setting data, including the channel settings, are initialized.
 (The adjustments done in the adjustment process mode are not initialized.) Keep this in mind when initializing these settings.

1  Factory settings 

Ends by turning off the

[Factory setting with adjustment process mode]

 MAIN POWER key.

䞉Enter the adjustment process mode.

 (See to below caution)

䞉Move the cursor to [INDUSTRY INIT] on page 2/30.
䞉 Press the [OK] key .
䞉 “EXECUTING” display appears.
䞉After a while, “SUCCESS” display appears, the setting is completed.

When succeeding: Background color (green)
When failing: Background color (red)
The following items are initialized in the factory setting.
1) User settings
2) Channel data (e.g. broadcast frequencies)
3) Maker option setting
4) Password data

After adjustments, exit the adjustment process mode.
To exit the adjustment process mode, unplug the AC power cord from the outlet to forcibly turn off the power.
When the power is turned off with the remote control, unplug the AC power cord and plug it back in (wait approximately 20 seconds 
 before plugging in the AC power cord)
After completing the NET connection., execute the NET initialization (Record of the server access)

Please execute the initialized in the factory setting again when you turn on the power supply 
after the initialized in the factory setting is set.

1 Turn on the AC power.

2 Insert the upgrading USB fl ash memory for upgrade into the service slot.
3 Use the Menu button and cursor keys (◄/► / ▲/▼) , P keys (r/s) of R/C or on the set to select

“HOME” > “TV Menu” > “Setup” > “Information” > “Software update” > “USB update”.on OSD menu.

4 If software update fi le is detected on a network server, the following screen shows up.

For a while, change to the next screen automatically if there is no problem.

Note
•  If not connectable with a network, caution shows up.

Cannot reach the server. Check the network settings and try again.

•  If there is no software update fi le on a network server or software update fi le there is already installed, caution 

shows up.

5 The caution for update shows up. Select “Yes” if there is no problem.

6 Software update starts.

Please wait for a while until the bar shows 100%

•  Do not disconnect the network server during updating.

7 When all the procedures are completed, the following upgrade success screen shows up.

Select "OK" if there is no problem.

Note
• 

Then get the set started and call the menu - setup - identifi cation to check the main software version.

CAUTION
1) Do not disconnect the network server during updating.
2) Do not turn off the AC power during upgrading.
3) It takes about one minute to the rewriting completion.

Please confi rm the upgrade status on the screen becomes 100%.

4) The AC power supply of the set is waited for about 20 seconds until off

(The AC outlet is pulled out) after the upgrade is completed.

USB Update

1 Turn on the AC power.
2 Insert the upgrading USB fl ash memory for upgrade into the service slot.
3 Use the Menu button and cursor keys (◄/► / ▲/▼) , P keys (r/s) of R/C or on the set to select

“HOME” > “TV Menu” > “Setup” > “Information” > “Software update” > “USB update” on OSD menu.

4 The message (Insert the USB memory device contains the software update fi le) shows up.

Push OK when if there is no problem.

5 After a while, if software update fi le is detected in the USB memory device, the following screen shows up.

Select YES when if there is no problem.

Note
•  If USB memory device isn’t inserted in TV fi rmly, caution shows up.

Please insert USB memory device fi rmly.

•  If USB memory device isn’t correctly inserted in TV, caution shows up.

Please insert USB memory device and retry software update.

•  If there are more than two software update fi les in the USB memory device, caution shows up.

Please insert one fi le and retry software update.

•  If there is no software update fi le in the USB memory device, caution shows up.

Please insert the correct fi le and retry software update.

•  If software update fi le in the USB memory device doesn’t mutch this model, caution shows up.

(Because Model name is unmatched or check sum error occurs)

Please insert the correct fi le and retry software update.

•  If software update fi le in the USB memory device is already installed, caution shows up.

Please reconfi rm the software version and reinstall (if necessary)

•  If USB memory device is not formatted by FAT32, caution shows up.

Please format USB memory device by FAT32.
