Quick guide
Checking signal strength and 
channel strength (DVB-T/C/S/S2)
If you install a DVB-T/C/S/S2 antenna for the first time 
or relocate it, you should adjust the alignment of the 
antenna to receive a good reception while checking the 
antenna setup screen.
Go to “Menu” > “Setup” > “View setting” 
> “Channel settings” > “Antenna setup-
DIGITAL”.
Press a/b to select “Digital setup” or 
“Satellite setup”, and then press ;.

NOTE
The values of “Signal strength” and “Quality” indicate when to 
check the appropriate alignment of the antenna.

Supplying power to the antenna
You must supply power to the antenna in order to receive digitally/terrestrially broadcast stations or satellite  
broadcast stations after connecting the antenna cable to the antenna terminal on the rear of the TV.
Press @ and the “Menu” screen displays.
Press c/d to select “Setup”, and then press ;.
Press c/d to select “View setting”, and then press ;.
Press a/b to select “Channel settings”, and then press ;.
Press a/b to select “Antenna setup-DIGITAL”, and then press ;.
Press a/b to select “Supply voltage”, and then press ;.
Press c/d to select “On”, and then press ;.

Switching on/off
Turning on/off the power
Turn on (;) the MAIN POWER switch on the 
rear of the TV (Page 4).
To turn on the TV, press <a on the TV 
or >a on the remote control unit.
To turn off the TV, press <a on the TV 
or >a on the remote control unit.
Turn off (a) the MAIN POWER switch on the 
rear of the TV (Page 4).
When turning off the power using the MAIN POWER 
switch on the rear of the TV, EPG data will be lost.
Standby mode
To standby mode
If the MAIN POWER switch on the rear of the TV is 
turn on (;), you can switch it to standby by pressing 
<a
 on the TV or >a on the remote control unit.
Switching on from standby
From standby, press <a on the TV or >a on 
the remote control unit.
NOTE
If you are not going to use this TV for a long period of time, be 
sure to remove the AC cord from the AC outlet or turn off (a) 
the MAIN POWER switch on the rear of the TV (Page 4).
A small amount of electric power is still consumed even when 
the MAIN POWER switch is turned off (a) (Page 4).

Watching TV
EPG
EPG is a programme list that is displayed on the screen. With the EPG, you can check the schedule of DTV/SAT/RADIO/
DATA, view detailed information about them, tune to an event currently on-air.
Useful settings for using EPG
Basic setting

EPG
If you want to use the EPG for digital stations, select 
“Yes”. The EPG data must be automatically captured 
while the TV is in standby mode. After setting to “Yes”, 
it may take some time to turn off the power using the 
remote control unit due to the process of the data 
capture.
Go to “Menu” > “Setup” > “View setting” > 
“Individual setting” > “Standby search” > 
“EPG”.
NOTE
If the MAIN POWER switch is switched off, the EPG data will 
not be captured.

Display range setup
The “Display range setup” allows you to select three 
types of time spans for display on the screen.
Go to “Menu” > “Setup” > “Option” > “EPG 
setup” > “Display range setup”.

Displays three hours of programme

Genre icon setup
You can grey out or place a mark on desired genres and 
smoothly search for programmes you frequently watch.
Go to “Menu” > “Setup” > “Option” > “EPG 
setup” > “Genre icon setup”.
Press a/b to select the desired genre, and 
then press ;.
