Release Note  

1.A message shown on OPE in Procedure 8（remove printed paper) should 
be shown after Procedure 6 
2.The error message of CWS shouldn't remain after recovery 
【Procedure B】（1～4 is same as Procedure A） 
1. Open word file of Letter LEF 24 page（Portrait) 
2. Print with below driver settings 
  Media tab

⇒Paper size...Letter SEF 

  Finishing tab

⇒Staple mode...Saddle stitch 

3.（24～22page） is outputted with saddle fold＋staple 
4.When completing print till job （21～2 page）, an error message of "20 
Copies is Staple max. Continue without Stapling?" is on OPE 
5. Select "Cancel" in error message 
6. Resume print and print of remaining data 1st page is canceled then print till 
（21～2 page）is outputted with saddle fold＋staple 
7. An error message of "Please Remove paper from the Saddle stapler 
compiler" is shown on CWS 
【Issue】 
An error message of CWS remains 
【Expected behavior】 
The error message of CWS doesn't remain after completing printing （cancel 
the remaining data） 
【Additional information】 
・After Procedure, normal print and saddle fold＋staple print can be done with 
error display in CWS but an error message remains. 
・When executing 48 page data by PolarisPro without Fiery by using SHARP 
driver set as Multi-sheet Fold-Staple, 1～40 page（20 paper) is outputted first 
then same error message as procedure 4 is shown, by selecting "Continue" 
remaining data is printed and outputted to offset tray, by selecting "Cancel" 
remaining data is not printed but canceled. 

•  FIT191572: Print job is canceled by fiery when print job is sent while Auto 

 

1) Enable Auto Power Shut-Off as Earlier on MFP Webpage  

 

2) Send core_10_b.pdf (1082pages) as Letter LEF/1 copy 

 
 

Results: Print job is canceled while printing

•  FIT191575: When reaching account limitation, bring it to toner not mounted 

status, although MFP status is account limit, Command WorkStation status is 
toner not mounted. 
 

 

1. In Command WorkStation register a user 

 

 

from menu create in [Server]-[Configure]、[User and Group] 

 

 

Ex. Group: test, User:test1, Password:00000 

 

 

2. Register user in printer driver 

 

 

From OS"Device and Printer" right click on printer and select [Printing  

 

 

 

Preferences] 

 

 

In [Job Info], set[User authentication] 

 

 

Ex.User:test1、Password:00000 

 

 

3.In MFP Web page, register a user 

 

 

Create in [User Control]-[User List] 

 

 

Ex.User:test1、Password:00000 

 

 

4. Set a limitation on user created in MFP Web page 

 

 

From [User Control]-[Page Limit Group List], Create print count limitation 1group 

 

 

Set this created limitation group to prerequestie-3 user 

 

 

【Procedure】 

 

 

1. Print out 2 sets of test page from printer driver 

 

 

2. When having account limitation, take out toner cartridge from MFP 

 

 

3. Check MFP operation screen 

 

 

4. Check MFP Web page 

 

 

5. Check Command WorkStation status

•  FIT191581: Print job is canceled when print job is sent. Fiery does not receive 

the packet that an engine sent. 
 

 

1) Set 20 sheets of paper in LCC, Tray1, Tray2 and bypass tray. 

 

 

2) Shift to Auto Power Shut-Off of MFP. 

 

 

3) Print core_10_b.pdf（1082page）with letter LEF from Fiery driver. 

 

 

4) Paper is not enough in the middle of a job. 

 

 

And set paper in order of Tray5, Tray1, Tray2, bypass tray. 

 

Results: Print job is canceled

Release Note  

•  FIT191578: Request to Change of SHARP logo on Webtool page 

 

1) Check SHARP logos on both CWS and the Webtool pages: 

All the SHARP logos are replaced with the one with registered mark 

 

•  FIT38810: [POPO] Remove paper from finisher Upper&lower tray msg did not 

1)  Print a 5000pg test file to default output tray. 
2)  The Finisher Upper tray gets full first, after which the offset happens, outputs 

start getting ejected out to the Finisher Lower tray, finisher lower tray also 
gets filled. 

3)  Check the engine LCD and CWS Errors and Alerts: It shows 'Remove paper 

from Finisher Upper and Lower Trays'. 

4)  Clear the outputs from these trays. 

 

Results: The job resumes printing to the Finisher Upper tray, but the message 
still stays. 

•  FIT38568: Color separation issue observed while printing large job with mixed 

1)  Install PS driver and set to Raw 9101 port in client PC.  
2) Send 100 jobs of 100-pages mixed size (Letter&11x17) job PDF file via PS 
driver-Direct queue  
3) Put only 1000 Letter size sheets paper in tray 1, and 1000 sheets 11x17 paper 
size in LCT tray  
4) After 'load paper' message pops-up, put another 1000 Letter and 1000 11x17 
sheets paper in trays and accordingly  
5) Repeat step 4 until the whole job completes printing 

 

Results: Color registration issue observed while printing. This is mostly seen on 
B/W Letter Landscape pages where "Color 11x17 Portrait" text is printed in Cyan 
and Yellow color. The original color of the text on Color 11x17 pages is Green. 

 

•  FIT156263: Fake Paper jam/Misfed message showed in CWS while there is no 

1)   Import test file core_10_b.pdf (1082pages) to CWS Hold queue.

2)   Set the Engine to Auto Power Shut off. 
3)   Load only 20 sheets of Letter in Trays to create frequent Load Paper condition. 
4)  Print the job. 

 

Results: Job printed 880 odd pages with paper load messages in the course of 
Printing to this point. At this point on a Paper load prompt paper was loaded but the 
job did not resume. Engine LCD showed Waiting and then CWS Errors and Alerts 
section showed the message "Remove Misfed".  

•  FIT38595: [POPO]"Check copier power and cable connection was observed" 

1)  Load less than 9 sheets of 11X17 papers on the engine. 
2)  Print a job to Northstar1.0 from driver with paper size as 11X17 Full Bleed. 

 

Results: There was a paper out condition while printing and CWS did not prompt 
for any load paper message. Instead "Check copier power and cable connection 
was observed" on CWS and connection between Fiery and engine was lost. Both 
POPO of server and engine was required to get rid of this. This issue happened 
once in 3 trials. 

 

•  FIT38596: Job Cancelled by Engine at a Paper Empty scenario 

1) Send a 1210 page A3, Color job to Fiery from PnP Direct queue. 
2) After the first job is spooled and submitted send another job with the same 
settings. 

 

Results: The first job completes and printing starts for the second job. The 
second job cancels all of a sudden after printing 209 pages as per the job log. 
CWS Errors and Alerts section shows "Check Copier Power and Cable 
connections". No jam is seen on the engine. Consecutive jobs could be printed 
from engine. On checking the two trays on which A3 papers were loaded, those 
were found to be empty.
