3) Loosen the fixing screw of the adjustment section on the front
side. If the guide pin is inser ted smoothly, tighten the fixing
screws of the adjustment section on the front/rear sides.
By making sp ace between the main body and gr ound, the
adjustment screw can be turned by the finger.
b. When the guide pin is fit with the connection hole in the
saddle finisher:
1) Insert the finisher into the main unit. C heck to insure that the
upper and lower clearances between the main un it and the
saddle finisher are even.
2) If the upper and lower clearances between the main unit and
the saddle finisher are not even, and remove the foot cover.
3) Loosen four fixing screws of the adjustment section, and turn
the height adjustment screws on the front/rear sides to adjust
so that the clearances are even.
By making sp ace between the main body and ground, the
adjustment screw can be turned by the finger.
4) When the clearances are even, tighten the fixing screw o f the
adjustment section, and attach the foot cover.
(5) Main unit and saddle finisher connection
1) Fix the connection plate to the paper feed desk with fixing
screw B.
2) Attach the rail bracket to the frame with fixing screw C.

(6) Connector connection
1) Connect the saddle finisher connector with the connector of
the paper pass unit, and tighten the screw.
2) Connect the saddle finisher connector with the connector of
the main unit, and tighten the screw.
(7) Staple position label attachment
1) Attach the staple position label (for the scanner).
2) Attach the staple position label (for the RSPF).
C. Turn on the power of the main unit
1) Connect the powe r plug of the machine to the powe r outlet,
and turn ON the main power switch and the operation panel
power switch.

1. Unpacking
A. Packed items check
Use the punch position labels bundled with the MX-FN10.
2. Installation
Before installation, be sure to turn both the oper ation and main
power switches off and disconnect the power plug from the power
outlet. Make double sure that the data lamp on the operation panel
does not light up or blink when performing installation.
A. Saddle finisher disconnect
1) Disconnect the connector between the main unit and the sad-
dle finisher.
2) Release the lock an d separate the saddle finisher from the
main unit.
B. Saddle finisher exterior removal
1) Remove the rear cover.
2) Remove the front lower cover.

3) Open the front cover and remove the front inner cover.
C. Punch unit attachment
1) Remove the dummy punch guide.
2) Attach the punch unit to the saddle finisher.
Fix the punch unit with the screw which was removed from the
dummy punch guide.
Before installing, remove the dust box.
Check to confirm that the punch guide pin is securely inserted
into the guide pin insertion hole of the finisher.
Check to confirm that the p awl (A) is engaged with the plate
frame.
3) Connect the harness on the punch unit sid e with the PWB on
the finisher side.
