Main body control-related
If the mounted USB memory is pulled out during restart after simulation with the restart
function is released, the LCD screen display may become unstable depending on the
timing. This glitch has been corrected.
Main body control-related
The system clock would go back to approximately 5 years, 5 months and 8 days previous
for a maximum of 1 minute if an operation is made on the home screen, the system
settings screen, or the preview screen after turning on the power and then operation is
made on the home screen, the system settings screen after at least 6 hours. This glitch
has been corrected.
Main body control-related
The machine may hang up if the power is turned on, on the panel under shut-off status,
and then the power is turned off immediately. This glitch has been corrected.
4 Simulation-related
SIM22-25, SIM24-25, or SUM24-35 may be unable to be executed because destination
information is sometimes mistakenly read depending on timing when the power is turned
on. This glitch has been corrected. (Power off/on can recover this glitch.)
5 Simulation-related
The retransmission history may not be cleared in Sim66-10 (FAX memory image data
clear). This glitch has been corrected.
6 Simulation-related
Items Sim24-30 “Initializing administrator password” and Sim24-31 “Initializing service
password” with security kit installed were deleted.
7 Simulation-related
Transition from external authentication mode to simulation has been made possible.
8 Simulation-related
Indication of the cumulative number of developer/drum rotations has been added to
Sim22-13.
9 Simulation-related
Entering simulation mode was disabled for 5 minutes if a problem with U2-00/U2-11/U2-
12/U2-22/U2-23/U2-30/U2-50/U2-24/U2-10/U2-05(E7-03) occurs in external
authentication. This glitch has been corrected.
10 Simulation-related
Upon a jam during colour copy operation using SPF, an error occurs if system setting and
colour calibration are performed after releasing the jam. This glitch has been corrected.
11 Simulation-related
Enable setting for fusing cleaning mode (self-printing) in the system setting menu has
been added to the following Sim:
Sim26-32 Item B: CLEANING PRINT SET
0: Displayed
1: Not displayed (default)

Image transmission-related
Transmitting multiple documents directly to SMTP from the specific model of other
companies may cause a problem of receiving only the first page of multiple documents
more than once. This glitch has been corrected.
13
Image transmission-related
If the scanned data is transmitted to non-Windows OS through "Scan to shared folder" of
the MFP main body, the SMB server based on non-Windows OS may respond differently
from the SMB standard communication procedure, causing an SMB client error. This
glitch has been corrected so that the scanned data can be transmitted correctly by
ignoring such response on the MFP main body side.
14 Printer-related
Data after the EOI (End of Image) marker in JPEG data of the pasted image may not be
printed because a PCL-XL error occurs as incorrect data. This glitch has been corrected
so that data after the EOI marker is ignored.
15 Printer-related
Enabling LPD:[Use banner] on the network setting of the WEB page may cause halt of
printing around the 1000th job. This glitch has been corrected.
16 Printer-related
A watermark may be garbled because some parts of the macro processing sections for
watermark processing cannot be processed correctly. This glitch has been corrected.
17 Printer-related
If data is printed with the paper size set to "custom" and print mode set to "high-definition"
after the standard resolution of printer environment setting is set to "600 dpi" in system
setting or on a WEB page (the standard resolution is factory-set to "600 dpi (high-quality)",
an incorrect page size may have been used, the print position may be displaced, or a
blank page may be produced. This glitch has been corrected.
18 Printer-related
The printing system that does not use any printer driver sometimes returned a
development code name from the MFP main body to the PC. The system has been
changed so that it returns a model name instead of the development code name.
19 Printer-related
The next job caused a PCL XL error when it receives an invalid XL file without job end.
This glitch has been corrected.
20 Printer-related
When copying the character string specified in PJL, the memory occasionally became
corrupted because the buffer size is small, resulting in incomplete printing from MacOS
10.5.6. This glitch has been corrected.
21 Printer-related
If ESC/P raster data (barcode data) exists at the end of the page, the data cannot be
registered in the page buffer correctly because the page end processing is performed
before the final raster data processing. If the data cannot be registered in the page buffer
correctly, barcodes may not be printed correctly. This glitch has been corrected.

22 Printer-related
If the character string reference pointer is not initialized in character string comparison for
automatic discrimination of PDL data, an incorrect address may be accessed and, in rare
cases, the MFP main body may be restarted during printing. This glitch has been
corrected so that the pointer is initialized under all conditions.
23 Printer-related
If a job with an unsupported resolution (e.g., 400dpi) was executed with the standard
resolution of the printer environment setting set to "600dpi (high-quality)" (factory-set
value), the image may be enlarged twice and printed. This glitch has been corrected. This
symptom does not occur if data is printed using the printer driver.
24 Printer-related
Any response may not return even if the PCL command to check Macro/Font registrations
is sent. This glitch has been corrected.
25 Printer-related
If specific PDF data is printed directly via USB, a blue background may be printed solidly
on the second page. This glitch has been corrected.
26 Printer-related
When Illustrator outputs data, characters may be garbled due to incorrect PS font
replacement processing. This glitch has been corrected.
27 Printer-related
If 100 jobs or more are stacked, some jobs may remain in the spool queue and may not
be printed. This glitch has been corrected.
28 Printer-related
If an attempt is made to print large quantities of data from the USB port, a hang-up may
occur without data being printed. This glitch has been corrected.
29 Printer-related
System was changed to output Notice Page upon PCL-XL memory-full error.
30 Printer-related
If printing jobs are performed on ACS containing both b/w and colour with pseudo two-
sided mode such as printing on both sides of last sheet in odd-number
manuscripts/printed sheet/letterhead/punched sheet, a transfer current would not be
output and one side in two-sided printing would be printed light. This glitch has been
corrected.
31 Printer-related
A high-load printer job could hang-up. This glitch has been corrected.
32 Printer-related
Outputting data from Excel 2000 with an image could result in printing stripes or grids on
an image. This glitch has been corrected.
