Firmware Upgrade
5. Select the required firmware that requires updating (example shown ICU Main & Language).
Press Execute & Yes to commence the update.
Note: If all firmware (including peripherals) require updating, select ALL.
6. During the firmware update, a progress “gauge” will be displayed.
7. Once the firmware update has completed successfully, press OK to reboot the device.

1. Open a web browser and enter the following URL :‐

2. To access the Service Webpage, enter the “Service” Username and Password.

Note: If User Authentication is enabled, open the device webpage and login by selecting “Service”
from the drop down menu and entering the service password:‐
3. When the service webpage opens, click Update of Firmware.
4. Click Browse to navigate to the location of the updated firmware file and select
Open.

Using a PC, copy the firmware file onto the root directory of the USB Memory Stick
In the event of a power failure during a firmware update or HDD failure, the machine may fail to reboot
because of corrupted firmware. To re‐install the firmware, it is necessary to boot the machine using a USB
Memory Stick
Firmware Recovery Procedure:
1.
Power off the Machine

Rename the firmware file to
emupdate_P2.sfu
Example shown: 0100P20 firmware.sfu renamed to emupdate.sfu
4.
Insert the USB memory device into the machine and Power On
The machine will
BOOT
via the USB memory device. The firmware installs automatically from
the detected USB Memory Stick
5.
Once the firmware update has been installed successfully, power off the machine and remove
the USB Memory Stick

Always rename the firmware to the original SFU name i.e. 0100P20 firmware.sfu
