Before cooking

The heating category (a letter A to E) developed
by MAFF (Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and
Food) with microwave oven and food manufacturers
indicates the ability of the oven to heat small
quantities of food (up to 500g [1lb 2oz]). It does not
represent the general performance of the oven.

Pure citric acid, available at some chemists, or
bottled 100% lemon juice with no pulp are used
for descaling. Choose one and prepare the
descaling solution.
To use pure citric acid, dissolve 1 tablespoon of
pure citric acid crystals in 500ml of water in a
non-porous container. Stir well and pour into the
water tank to the MAX mark.
To use 100% bottled lemon juice, check that
there is absolutely no pulp in it. If there is
pulp or you are not sure, strain through a fi ne
strainer. Measure 70ml of the strained lemon
juice and add it to 500ml of water. Stir well and
pour into the water tank to the MAX mark.
Place the water tank in the oven correctly and
push fi rmly into place.

BEFORE OPERATING

AUTOMATIC COOKING
Automatic Operation can be used when cooking with steam, grill or microwave functions. Refer to each function
for the details.
