1.  Battery Pack operational Manual
Before using the battery pack, please read these instructions carefully.
1.1.  Disposal of Lithium Ion Battery
You can return your unwanted lithium ion batteries to the nearest WaiterMate Service
Center.
Note: in some areas, the disposal of lithium ion batteries in household or business trash
may be prohibited.
Caution: Do not handle damaged or leaking lithium ion battery.
Please use this battery pack only with a WaiterMate hand-held terminal.
1.2.  Be sure to observe the following
-  Use only the specified charger or equipment for charging.
-  To prevent short circuit, do not bring metal objects into contact with the battery
terminals.
-  Keep the battery pack away from fire.
-  Never expose the battery pack to temperatures above 60°C (140°F).
-  Keep the battery pack dry
-  Do not expose the battery pack to any mechanical shock.
-  Do not disassemble or modify battery pack.
1.3.  Before using
This battery pack has been factory charged when delivered. If the charge is insufficient to
operate, charge the battery pack with the specified WaiterMate  Li-Ion battery charger
before using it. Refer to the supplied instruction manual for information, concerning the
battery charger and the charging time. When carrying or storing the battery pack, attach
it to a WaiterMate handheld terminal.
1.4.  Best way to use the battery pack
Take care not to allow dust or dirt to get into the terminal connection of the battery pack,
keep the terminals clean. Remove any accumulated dust in the terminal connector, using
a small, soft brush, then attach and remove the battery pack several times.
The battery pack is discharged gradually even if it is not in use.
To ensure the maximum number of chargings and dischargings, we recommend to store
the battery pack in a cool place and to charge it under temperatures ranging from 10°C
to 30° C (50°F to 86°F). Battery life is shorter in cold climate. Battery efficiency is
decreased and the battery wears out more quickly in cold weather. (10°C -50° F) or less.
For longer battery life, we recommend the following:
Charge the battery using the WaiterMate  Li-Ion battery charger at room temperature
(from 10°C /50°F to 30°C / 86°F). Preparing spare battery packs is also recommended.
