How to terminate
Press the Touch panel to terminate.
5) Data Transmission Check
Data transmission is checked in the system already established. The
system is composed of one master machine and a max of 63 satellite
machines.
Note when starting the test:
•  When checking the set in which the LAN setting has been completed,
disable the LAN setting before starting this check.
• When testing the system already established, disconnect the LAN
cable of the sets not subject to test, or disable the LAN setting. Leav-
ing LAN enabled may cause data to be destroyed.
• The transmission test setting must be performed after disabling the
LAN setting of all the sets in the system. For the transmission check
setting, first, set the satellite machines, then set the master machine.
UP-3301 DIAG uses private IP address. This DIAG assigns Private IP
addresses to 64 terminal numbers to simplify the test as shown below.
When performing data transmission check, be sure to physically discon-
nect other network where these IP addresses are set.
TERMINAL NO.1 = 192.168.0.1
TERMINAL NO.2 = 192.168.0.2
. . . . .
TERMINAL NO.63 = 192.168.0.63
TERMINAL NO.64 = 192.168.0.64

How to set
i.
Satellite machine setting
In the menu screen, select "Data Trans. (SA)". Following screen
appears. Numeric key panel to enter numbers is displayed in
the lower part of the screen.
Press the terminal No. (2 digits number between 1~64) of the
machine to be checked and touch the Enter key.
The following screen appears.
ii.
Master machine setting
In the menu screen, select "DATA Trans. (MA)". The following
screen appears. Numeric key panel to enter numeric character
is displayed in the lower part of the screen.
Press the terminal No.(2 digits number among 1~64) of the
machine to be checked and Enter key.
The following screen appears. The numeric key panel to enter
numeric characters is displayed in the lower part of the screen.
Press the terminal No. (2 digits number among 1~64) of the sat-
ellite machine to be connected to the test machine. The
numeric key panel to enter numeric characters is displayed in
the lower part of the screen.
When checking with two or more satellite machines connected,
repeat the entry for the terminal No. (2 digits, 1~64) and touch
ENTER key. To execute the checking, touch the ENTER key
without entering the terminal No. You can also enter the termi-
nal No. with range designating function without entering all ter-
minal No. After entering the first terminal No. and last terminal
No. of the satellite machine, touch ENTER key. For example,
when you want to enter the terminal No. 5~63 of the satellite
machine, touch "0515" and ENTER key.
The following screen appears.
Do not assign the same terminal No. to different machines
(master/satellite).
When you designate terminal No. with range designating func-
tion, the terminal No. used in the master machine is excluded
from the designated terminal number of the satellite machine.
After completing the above setting, data transmission test
starts.

 Check content
i.
Data composed of 2 byte sequence No. and 254 byte AAH data
in the following format are transmitted from the master machine
to the satellite machine. The master machine displays the
sequence No.
Test data format (1 packet : 256 byte)
ii.
The satellite machine sends back the received data to the mas-
ter machine. The satellite machine displays the received
sequence No.
iii. After receiving the data, the master machine checks the
sequence No. and 254 byte AAH data. In case of an error, the
error code is displayed and the test is completed. If multiple sat-
ellite machines are connected, the step i and ii above operation
are repeated. If data transmission with all the satellite machines
are normally completed, the master machine increments the
sequence No.
Repeat step i and iii.
