Selling Quantities of Hot Key Items
TYPE in, using the NUMBER KEYS on your keyboard, however many of the
item you want to sell. So if it is 3 items PRESS the number 3 KEY, then
PRESS the QTY button, then PRESS the HOT KEY.
The till screen will then show the priced item as before.

elling Department Items
There are turquoise department keys on your keyboard that have departments
written on them. These may be FRUIT & VEG, or BAKERY for example.
To sell from these groups, first TYPE in the PRICE with the NUMBER
KEYS, for 60 pence TYPE 60 then press the department key, for £6.00, you
would TYPE in 600 then PRESS the department key.
The till screen will then show the priced item as normal.

Selling Weighted Items
If any of the DEPARTMENTS are set up as WEIGHTED ITEMS, for
example FRUIT & VEG, you TYPE in the weight through the NUMBER
KEYS. For 500 grams, TYPE 500 then PRESS the DEPARTMENT KEY.
The till screen will then show the priced item as before.

erforming a Product Search
PRESS the ‘FIND ITEM’ button.
In the box that appears on the screen, you can SCAN the item and PRESS
ENTER. If you do not have a barcoded item, KEY in the name of the item with
the LETTER KEYS, then PRESS ENTER. The name can include special
characters to aid your search if you do not know the exact name of the item, for
more information refer to the Product Search documentation within the Back
Office User Manual.
If you wish to select an item, CLICK on the correct item from the list that
appears as a result of the search. Otherwise PRESS QUIT to return to what
you were doing before without selecting a product.
The till screen will then show the priced item as before.
