Init Card
The card init function is used to allow use of an unused
card
CARD NO: This field allows setting of the card
number.
TYPE: This field allows the card to be set as: Normal,
Inactive, Replacement, or Replaced.
Name shown here
SEX: This field allows the sex recorded on the card to
be changed.
GROUP: This filed allows the Group of the card to be
set.
ALERT ON USE: This field allows changing of the
status of the "alert on use", flag.
EXPRIES: The card expiry date, can be set here.
DOB1: This field allows setting of the 1

The following new down load jobs are available on a
MASTER/SLAVE configuration :

SmartSmart SRV parameters (S/S#001 to S/S#015)

Select "1 SRV PARAMETER " and press the Enter
key.

New Jobs 29 (SharpSmart Group), and 30
(SharpSmart Site), have been added. They down load
to the satellites and over write the existing settings for
SharpSmart Groups, and SharpSmart Sites
respectively.
Maintenance Down Load
New Jobs 12 (SharpSmart Group) and 13 (SharpSmart
Site), have been added. They down load to the
satellites but do not over write the existing settings for
SharpSmart Groups, and SharpSmart Sites
respectively.

CHAPTER 4. X1/Z1 MODE
The following categories of reports can be printed by
the ECR for SharpSmart transactions.
X1/Z1 reports (Daily total x and z reports)
To print reports, use the following key entry sequence:
The following screens must be selected to enter X1/Z1
reporting.
Select "1 READING " OR "2 RESETTING" for
standalone machine or individually reset sattelite and
press the Enter key. System X or Z is for in-line
master.
Select DESIRED REPORT press the Enter key
[CARDTRANS]
This job reads the contents of the SharpSmart Card
transaction file. It is available as either an X1 or Z1
report. On In-line systems, it is available only on the
MASTER register, as the SharpSmart Card transaction
file is held centrally.
[S'SMART BAL]
This job reads the contents of the SharpSmart Card
balance file. It is available as either an X1 or Z1
report, however, it should never be cleared down
during normal operation. On In-line systems, it is only
available on the MASTER register, as the SharpSmart
Card balance file is held centrally.
