Card Expiry Date Extension
Renewal before =
re-setting allowed x days
before current card expiry date
(default setting at MRS = 030)

These fields are used to specify the maximum number
of days before and after the existing card‟s expiry date
that the extension can take place. The „Renewal‟ key
is used to affect the extension (see S/S#001-C. Expiry
date extension applies when S/S#001-C is not set).

The text can contain special character strings. The
length of the special string defines the output width of
the field. For example, “èèèèè” specifies that the
number of points redeemed should be output as 5
characters. Make sure that the field width is adequate
to avoid truncation.
The special characters allowed are:
è - Number of points redeemed
¿ - ( d-i-t-t-o
– double-width characters)
à - Value of points redeemed
ù - ( d-i-t-t-o
– double-width characters)

Automatic Happy Hour
PTS Multiplier: During happy hour operation the
SPEND points awarded are multiplied by this factor.
Product points are taken from the second or third
points field, if one is set up (see SRV job 971).

TYPE: this field sets the card refresh type. There are
6 refresh types: normal (no refresh), daily, weekly,
monthly, quarterly, and annual refresh.

MIN PURSE: At the end of each transaction, if the
SharpSmart Card balance falls below this amount, a
message is printed on the receipt (if set in S/S#005-A),
stating that the balance is low. This message is
programmable in PGM2 > SETTING > SHARPSMART
>S'SMART TEXT.
REF. VALUE: If a SharpSmart Card belongs to a
REFRESH GROUP this value is used to refresh the
SharpSmart Cards secondary purse at the specified
time (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually).
Note: Refresh values are always added to Purse 2,
irrespective of whether normal mode or Independent
Purse mode is used.

which defaults to zero. Allows Purse 1 to become
negative.

which defaults to zero. Allows Purse 2 to become
negative when Independent Purse system is in

are activated. Each group discount can be disabled,
enabled for normal sales, enabled for happy hour
sales, or enabled for both normal and happy hour
sales.
