Function:

- Software RESET.
- All the function conditions will be initialized.
- It will jump to A operation in case of power ON.
- After displaying "CLEAR ALL", power will be turnd off.
- Forwarding condition set for CD changer.
- Forwarding condition set for TAPE mechanism.

•  This is a test mode for producing CD-DVD500H. Do not use except when servicing.

Function: AUDIO CIRCUIT TEST

a) 

The volume steps can be set to 3 levels, i.e. low, medium, and high.

Initial settings of TEST MODE 7

1. Volume

: Step 1 (-16dB)

2. Preset G-EQ.

: FLAT

3. X-Bass

: OFF

4. Function

: TEST FUNCTION

Set the volume levels to the following 3 steps and turn the power on.
Other operations will work normally.

Function: The SET will be set to "shipping condition". (Right after the shipment from the factory)

- All the functions and conditions are initialized.
- CLEAR ALL TUNER PRESET MEMORY
- CLOCK INITIAL
- CLEAR CD MEMORY
- DVD MEMORY RESET
- Initialize the CD changer mechanism and compact cassette mechanism.
- For CD changer mechanism, set it in upward condition.

When initialize the mechanism, it will display "WAIT" and will not accept any changes by key input.

After "shipping condition" setting is completed, "FINISED" is display and any key input will be disenabled.

If there are any troubles and "shipping condition" cannot be set, "ERR" will be displayed.

1. A DVD itself and a personal computer are articulated as

the right figure for. Software the renewal is started more.

2. Pressing down the DVD/CD button and  EQUALIZER button,

press POWER button.

WRITE         It is displayed.

3. Start a data transfer within 5 seconds -30 seconds after

you go into DVD ROM RENEWAL MODE.

4. AC code is removed after a data transfer is finished.

5. AC code is put again, and it is within DVD test mode,

and program version is confirmed.
