1-2. Click  “Config”

Selected item will be stored.
Connect the download PC cable with selected com port (COM1-COM9).

2. Select Download file

2-1. Download Program Main Menu

Click "Reference" to select the download file. 
(Download filename is TPA65##_RF_SERIAL_Vxx.xxxx for IC4 or TPA65_AUDIO_SERIAL_Vxx.xxxx for IC5, in which 
xx.xxxx ) XXX=Version

3. Download Start

3-1. Keep pressing " (CANCEL)" key until step 3-4

3-2. Click "Download"

If communication NG. Then try again from step 1-1.
(A) Check serial PC cable connection "PC" with "TPA65".
(B) Check Configuration. (Refer to Step 1-2)
(C) Check PC cable attachment of target.

3-3. Click "Download"

Communicating PC with Target.
Don't release the " (CANCEL)" key in this step. If release the ". (CANCEL)" key, downloading will be failed.
If download NG, click "Cancel" then back to step 3-1 and try download again.

3-4. Downloading Start

After several seconds, Display shows "Download Start".
You can release the " (CANCEL)" key in this step.

If the downloading is failed in step 3-4, try again from step 3-1.
However, add the follwing process next to step 3-2.
(1) Disconnect DC Power and then connect DC Power again.
(2) Go to step 3-3.
     Don’t release the " (CANCEL)" key in this process.

3-5. Downloading Complete

If downloading finished, display shows "Download finished successfully!".

Click "OK" then disconnect the serial PC cable.

When you update TPA65 Firmware with Air Down load it must be registered to TGP600.

1. Register TPA65 to the TGP600.

Refere to Service Manula of TGP600 PS Registration.
Access to TGP600 WEB browser, and select Local Firm ware Update.
    Note:

When you update the PS Firmware , TGP600 should be operated in Normal Mode.

2. Firmware update

Select "Firmware Update" menu of the PS, refer to following procedure.
Select "Setting Handset".
Select "System Option".
Select "Firmware Update
    Note:

If the Firmware update is selected "Automatically" at the CS WEB, PS will start Firmware Update automatically after regis-

tration.

Please consult the following procedure when TPA65 has any failures.
And refer to section 4 "Technical Descriptions".
In addition,note in each detail step as below.

• Do value check for parts as you can in checking soldering condition.
• After repair of parts,retern to previous flow and check the performance.
• If some troubles remains after a repair, please do residual steps.

Base unit is need to communicate to another one for confirmation of Voice Reception or Transmission.
Please refer to service manual of KX-TGP600 and use its "Peer to Peer Mode".
