5 Location of Controls and Components
5.1.
Name and Locations
Handset Hook
Keeps the handset stable when the unit is mounted on a wall. 
Ringer/Message Indicator
If an incoming call arrives, the indicator blinks in accordance with the LED pattern setting.

Soft Keys (A/B/C)
A/B/C (located from left to right) are used to select the item displayed on the bottom line of the
display. 
Navigator Key
The Navigator Key includes four arrow keys and an enter key. The arrow keys are used to adjust the
ringer/receiver volume or move the cursor to select an item. The enter key is used to confirm a
selection. If in standby mode, pressing the keys perform the following functions:
LEFT (
  )   Used to display the Incoming call log.

UP ( ) 
 Used to adjust the ringer volume.
RIGHT ( ) 
 Used to open the phonebook.

DOWN ( ) 
 Used to display the Outgoing call log.
ENTER 
 Used to display the Menu.
*1 When the BroadCloud (Presence) feature is enabled, the phone will operate as follows. Contact
your administrator for further information.
LEFT: Used to display Presence.
RIGHT: Used to display Favorites.
In this manual, when a procedure instructs you to "press 
OK
", you can also press the [ENTER]
key to confirm the selection.

MESSAGE Key
Used to access your voice mailbox.
FUNCTION Key
Pressing this key followed by a keypad number (0–9) allows you to perform various common
functions quickly. 
REDIAL Key
Used to redial the last dialed number.
MUTE Key
Used to mute the microphone/handset during a conversation.
VOL Key
Used to adjust the volume.
SP-PHONE (Speakerphone) Key
Used for performing hands-free operations.
LINE Key
Used to confirm the line status or seize a line.
TRANSFER Key
Used to transfer a call to another party, or to clear digits or characters.
HOLD Key
During talking, used to place a call on Hold. In standby mode, used to retrieve a call on hold if there
is one.
CONF Key
Used to establish a multiple-party conversation.
CANCEL Key
Used to cancel the selected item.
Headset Jack
The headsets can be used with this unit. (Not all operations with the headsets can be guaranteed.)

6 Installation Instructions
6.1.
Connections
Attach the AC adaptor and corded handset to the desk phone.

7 Firmware Version up
You can update TPA65 Firmware with Serial Download or Air Download.
7.1.
Serial Download
7.1.1.
Preparation
When you update TPA65 Firmware with Serial Down load , Serial TOOL, PC and communication software are need.
Connect Serial TOOL to CN10 for IC4 and CN11 for IC5 after power -on of TPA65.
7.1.2.
How to "Serial Download"
1. Before Downloading (Configuration Setting)
1-1. Execute "Flash Program.exe"
Note:
Flash Program must use since Ver2.0.
