5-2. Adjust Menu
NOTE 1: It isn't possible to do the setting of the item of DEFFECT COMP", "TEST PATTERN", "VTR DEBUG" and
"DEBUG INF". This is for factory use only.
NOTE 2: The Adjust menu screen can not be shifted to Page 2 in the CAMERA mode.
The menu screen can be shifted to Page 2, when connecting EVR tools in the VCR mode and making
VTR_TEST SW of the measurement board set to L position.

2. Connect the 2 pcs. of 30 pin flat cables (VFK1317) between P101/P102 on the Measuring Board (VFK1308P),
and 2 connectors on the EVR Connector Board (VFK1309A). Make sure that the contact surface of 2 pcs. of 30
pin Flat Cables are inner side and direction of the EVR Connector Board is as shown in Figure. Then connect
the Connection Adapter (VFK1763).

3. Connect the Connection Adapter (VFK1763) to EVR connector in Unit. Then make sure that the direction of the
VFK1309A and VFK1763 are correct as shown in Figure.

To confirm the ATF sensitivity, change the tape speed.
By pressing MULTI-DIAL button, enter the adjustment mode and then exit the menu once. The VTR mode is
operated when the menu mode is exited temporarily. The screen below is displayed.
NOW SERVO ADJUST
PUSH MENU TO RETURN
It will be returned to ADJUST MENU when the MENU key is pressed in this condition.
LINEARITY
To confirm the LINEARITY, change the ATF sensitivity.
By pressing MULTI-DIAL button, enter the adjustment mode and then exit the menu once. The VTR mode is
operated when the menu mode is exited temporarily. The screen below is displayed.

PUSH MENU TO RETURN
It will be returned to ADJUST MENU when the MENU key is pressed in this condition.
NOTE: ATF GAIN and LINEARITY can not be selected on CAMERA mode.

5-2-3. Adjustment item for Video Level
Y LEVEL
Y level of AV OUT and S-VIDEO OUTPUT signal can be adjusted on this item.
The displayed value is the same as value for Luminance level adjustment in EVR adjustment.
C LEVEL
C level of AV OUT and S-VIDEO OUTPUT signal can be adjusted on this item.
The displayed value is the same as value for Chroma level adjustment in EVR adjustment.
5-2-4. Hour Meter Reset and LOG Clear(Only VCR mode)
The Hour Meter and Auto Off Log data can be reset by items on page 2 in Adjust menu screen. To shift page 2
screen, connect the EVR tools and set VTR_TEST SW of the measurement board to L position follow the item
“5-2-1. Connection of EVR Tools”.
THREADING RESET
It resets the threading number of times.
TAPE RUN RESET
It resets tape running time.
CYLINDER RESET
It resets cylinder rotating time.
< How to reset Hour Meter >
1. The following message is displayed when choosing the item to reset with MULTI-DIAL and pushing MULTI-DIAL.
2. Select YES and when pushing MULTI-DIAL, reset is executed and the following message is displayed.

AUTO OFF LOG RESET
It resets auto off log information.
< How to reset Auto Off Log >
1. The following message is displayed when choosing the item “AUTO OFF LOG RESET” and pushing
MULTI-DIAL.
2. Select YES and when pushing MULTI-DIAL, reset is executed and the following message is displayed.
AUTO OFF & HOUR METER RESET
It resets auto off log information and hour meter at the same time.
The procedure of resetting is same as the item auto off log and the hour meter.
