5. 5. Troubleshooting
* The letters in the left of inspection items indicate the P.C. Boards related to their respective descriptions.
* Please check items with the interlock switch on.
■ Power does not turn ON. ([ON(G)/STANDBY(R)] LED does not light in red)
Check whether the socket of each port is connected and
the lamp cover is attached correctly.

Connect the cables properly

Disconnect the connectors [A6]. Check the short circuit
between pins of connector [A6].

A Replace the [A] P.C.Board
P Check and replace the [P] P.C.Board

■ Lamp does not turn ON.
Confirm the connection of each connector on A-P.C Board
and lamp.
Confirm the lamp fixing screws.

Is each thermal sensor operating in normal?

Check each thermal sensor and connection
Is each fan rotating when the projector turns on?

A Check that the 18V voltage is output at socket of P_P.C Board.

A Confirm that the voltage at pin (2) of connector [A6] and pin(4) of
connector [A4] changes from HI to Low when the power is ON.

A Check or replace [A] P.C.Board

A Check each power supply voltage of microprocessor IC(IC1321),
Digital Gamma IC (IC1705), S&H drive IC (IC1707).

A Check the clock waveform output (Microprocessor crystal oscil-
lator) at X1300(24MHz), X1700(33.8MHz)
