Note:
• After installation is complete, use the included cable holder
to manage the power cord and USB cable.
• When installing the elite Panaboard on the stand, you can
adjust its height to 4 different levels.
When changing the height, remove the left and right screws
from the back of the elite Panaboard, and securely insert
them at the desired height. Torque (greater than 1 N-m [10
kgf-cm (9 lbf-in.)])
Notice:
Do not use thinner, benzine, or abrasive chemicals to clean. (Doing
so can result in discoloration.)
Do not wipe the screen board with a dry cloth. (Doing so can cause
static electricity build-up.)
3. Hang the elite Panaboard on the stand with the screw heads.
4. Secure the elite Panaboard to the stand frame using the two-wing
bolts (M5 x 12 mm [

Confirming the elite Panaboard Operation
After assembling the elite Panaboard, confirm that it operates properly by following the procedure below.
3.7.1.
Confirming the Interactive Features
1. Install the elite Panaboard software (refer to the Operating Instructions for this model.), and connect the included USB cable.
2. Confirm that the interactive features are operating correctly.
• If a projector is not available, confirm operation using only the elite Panaboard and computer.
• When the elite Panaboard software starts, the calibration screen is displayed on the computer screen.
• Perform tentative calibration by pressing the 5 points on the elite Panaboard with the electronic pen, as shown in the illustra-
tion below.
For precise adjustment, it is necessary to use a projector.
• With the elite Panaboard software running, enter White Background mode and select the marker tool. Confirm operation by
writing on the screen board with the electronic pen and checking that the writing is displayed on the computer's screen. (Your
writing with the electronic pen will not appear on the screen board itself.)

Repackaging
To repackage the elite Panaboard, perform the following steps in the section 3.6 “Assembling the elite Panaboard” in reverse.
<For Wall Mounting>
Steps 1 - 12 in the <For Wall Mounting>
<For Mounting on a Stand (Sold Separately)>
Steps 1 - 5 in the <For Mounting on a Stand (Sold Separately)>
Package the unit as depicted in the diagram in the section 3.5 “Preparing for Removing the elite Panaboard from Its Packaging”.
Notice
• When handling the screen board, hold it by the frame and not the screen board itself. (Holding the screen board can result in the
damage.)

Attaching the Install-Free Kit (Sold Separately)
Note:
The main unit and the USB speakers on the front lower
frame cover are connected with the cable. Be careful not to
damage the connectors.
1. Unscrew the 4 screws from the front lower frame cover.
2. Lift the bottom of the front lower frame cover to remove it.
3. Disconnect the 2 connectors from the audio board <(1)>.
4. Unscrew the 4 screws and remove the control-power cover-front.
5. Disconnect the black cable and the white cable from the clamper
<(2)>.
6. Unscrew the 7 screws and remove the hub PCB shield plate.
7. Attach the install-free kit to the main unit as shown below.
8. Attach the hub PCB shield plate to the main unit using the 7
screws and fix the black cable and white cable to their previous
positions using the clamper.
9. Attach the control-power cover-front to the main unit using the 4
screws.
10. Attach the connectors from the USB speakers to the audio board
and attach the front lower frame cover to the main unit.

4 Electronic Pen Position Detection Mechanism
The electronic pen position is a detection device that mainly consists of two ultrasonic sensors (Ultrasonic Sensor 1 and Ultrasonic
Sensor 2) and one infrared sensor, equipped as shown in the following figure. These sensors receive the infrared signal and ultra-
sonic wave from the electronic pen. When the electronic pen is pressed on the screen, the electronic pen sends the infrared signal
and ultrasonic wave. This infrared signal is received by the infrared sensor and converted from the infrared signal to the electrical
signal with a cycle of 30 msec (Sig.1).
The ultrasonic signals Sig.2 and Sig.3, which are generated at the same time by the electronic pen, are received with the delay time
t1 (t2) in proportion to the distance d1 (d2) from the electronic pen to the ultrasonic sensor 1 (ultrasonic sensor 2) by the ultrasonic
sensor 1 (ultrasonic sensor 2). The elite Panaboard (Electronic Board) calculates the distance d1 (d2) using the delay times t1 and
t2. As a result, the elite Panaboard recognizes the position of the electronic pen.
