3. Carriage home sensor does 
not work properly.
1. Perform the "Carriage Motor" test in Sec. 
10.3.7.
 
to check the sensor detection.
2. Check connection the harness CONTROL Board to 
FLATBED RELAY Board and FLATBED RELAY 
Board to CARRIAGE HOME SENSOR Board.
3. Check the soldering condition of the CARRIAGE 
HOME SENSOR Board.
4. Check the soldering condition of the R679, R546, 
R551 and CN11.
5. Check the soldering condition of CN1000, CN1003.
6. Replace faulty parts.
F60: Front-side

(2) IC1** (AFE)
(3) IC4 (D/A Conv.)
3. Monitor the following CIS Timing signals on the 
CN1*.
(1) FCLK (CN1*-5th pin)  : See 
Fig.11.2.1.
(2) FSP (CN1*-7th pin)    : See 
Fig.11.2.2.
4. Replace faulty parts or boards.
