7.2.2  Disassemble the frame of the fi nished control baseplate
1.
   
Remove the fixed screw securing the sw panel 
ass’y and the protective frame (one piece).
Note: PE45 is not provided with such fi xed screw.
2.  
Remove 2 fixed screws securing the sw panel 
ass’y and the housing.

Dismantle the sw panel ass’y from the housing.

7.2.3  Disassemble the micro switch
1.  
 Remove the stop screw of the micro switch (one 
piece) and disassemble the micro switch.

7.2.4  Disassemble the thermost ass’y
1.  Remove all the leads connected to the thermost 
ass’y.

As shown in the right diagram, extend the claws 
(three) straight and take off the thermost ass’y.

7.2.5  Disassemble the cast heater ass’y
1.  
Remove the fi xed screws of the cast heater ass’y 
from the bottom of the protective frame, which is 
near the control baseplate.
2.  
Retain the self-tapping screws near the binding 
post of the heater.

Roll the cast heater ass’y out of the lock catch and 
remove it from the protective frame.

1.  Conduct the assembly as per the disassembly steps in a reversed way.
