Attention
[May cause injury or loss]
Examples of the symbols used in this manual are explained as below:

These symbols indicate forbidden behaviour.

This symbol indicates necessary behaviour.
Pressure relief valve
Pressure indicator rod
In heating, the temperature
and pressure inside the
pressure cooker will
become extremely high.
 Please observe the
following attentions strictly:
Nozzle
Safety closing-rod
Pressure-relief-valve
lifting handle
Cooker gasket
Nozzle cap
Cooker handle
Wire
Body plug
Body
 Warning
To avoid scalding and injury, etc., please pay attention to the following items:
  Before use
Do not use the cooker in the following situations.
(The outer cover may be burst away if the internal pressure cannot be relieved safely.)

The inner pot is not covered securely when pressure is added for cooking.

The pressure relief valve, the nozzle or the nozzle cap is clogged.

The nozzle cap is not put in position.

The pan packing is damaged.

The ingredients clog the gap (at the installation area of pan packing) or
clog up on the pan packing.

The safety closing-rod cannot work due to blocking of foreign materials.
  Do no open it
Do not open the outer cover forcibly when use under pressure.
• Please wait until the safety pin of the pressure indicator rod drops down.
   When rising
When dropping down
Keep hands or face away from the pressure relief valve, nozzle or pan
packing. (steam or food may be ejected abruptly.)
For thick dishes such as curry and stew, please take off the outer cover
when cooking.
  In use
● After use
Do not touch the high-temperature area.
• Please hold the handle when operating the pressure relief valve.
  When opening the outer cover
After use, please tilt the pressure relief valve to release the steam completely,
then take away the valve. (If there is still pressure, no matter how little, in the
inner pot, the outer cover may also be burst away or food ejected.)
In addition, the following behaviours should be avoided.

Do not allow an inexperienced person (e.g. a child) to operate the
appliance independently.

Do not use the appliance within easy reach of children.

Do not exceed the scale line as below when adding raw materials or fl avorings.
Up to the highest line for cooking
The maximum cooking capacity for some raw materials
(these raw materials swell when being cooked, such as
beans and noodles).

Do not use too much oil or too many raw materials frothing rapidly when
being heated in cooking, such as sodium bicarbonate.

Do not use the appliance for other purposes except cooking.
Stop using the appliance immediately in case of abnormality or fault.
(otherwise, it may cause smoking, burning, electric shock, scalding or injury)
Examples of abnormality and fault:

The power line and the plug are abnormally heated.

The power line is damaged or the power supply is on or off intermittently.

The body deforms or is abnormally heated.

The safety pin of the pressure indicator rod does not rise.
Remove the power plug immediately and ask the dealer to conduct the
inspection and maintenance.

Warning

To avoid electric shock and fi re, etc., please
pay attention to the following items:
  Power line and plug
The following behaviours should be avoided.
(Otherwise, it may cause electric shock, short
circuit or fire.)

Do not insert or remove the power plug with
wet hands.

Do not use plug or wiring device with the
rating higher than the appliance’s rating
or 220V AC. (If the rating is exceeded for
use of multi-socket extended line, fi re may
occur due to heating.)

Do not damage the power line and plug.

Damage, modify approach high-
temperature components, bend forcibly,
twist, pull, press with great force or bind.

Dust settlement or pin attachment on the
plug of the appliance should be avoided.

Do not pat the plug of the appliance.
(otherwise, it may cause electric shock or
injury.)
•
Pay particular attention to infants.
Please pay attention to the following items:

Insert the power plug to the end correctly.
(Improper insertion may cause electric
shock or fi re.)
•
Do not use a damaged plug or a loose
socket.

Remove the dust on the power plug
regularly. (fi re may occur due to insulation
failure cuased by moisture if the plug is
covered with dust.)
•
Remove the plug and wipe it with dry
cloth.
  Body
Do not immerge the body into water or
pour water on it.
Without permission, do not modify,
dismantle or repair the cooker.
(Otherwise, it may cause fi re, electric
shock or injury.)
•
For relevant maintenance matters,
please consult your dealer.

Attentions for Safe Operation

Attentions
■ Please observe the attentions.
■ Body

Be careful when taking out the container with food
in it.(taking out the container filled with hot water,
such as that containg steamed eggs in the cooker,
may cause scalding)

Maintenance shall be carried out after cooling-
down.(otherwise, it may cause scalding or injury)

In use, do not put the cooker near wall or furniture.
(otherwise, the wall or the furniture may deform or
fade due to steam or heat)

Do not use the cooker at unstable place or on a
mat that is not heat-resistant.
(otherwise, it may cause injury or burning)
■ Power line

Please grasp the handle every time when handling
the cooker.
(otherwise, it may cause scalding or injury)

If the cooker handle is loose, please fasten it before
use.
(otherwise, scalding or injury may occur due to
handle fall-off or safety-device failure)

Do not use non-designated power line or apply the
power line for other purposes.
(otherwise, it may cause fault or buring)

Please remove the power plug when the cooker is
not in use.
(otherwise, injury, scalding, electric shock, leakage
or fire may occur due to ageing of the insulation)

Please grasp the power plug every time when
removing it out.
(otherwise, it may cause electric shock, short
circuit or burning)
Operation attentions
To prevent fault, please pay attention to the following items:

Do no heat the cooker when it is empty.

Do not use the cooker when it is stuck with rice or other substances.
(On the sensor, pot bottom, heating plate or seal ring).

Do not use other cooker inside this pressure cooker.

Do not put the cooker with other heat sources.
(otherwise, it may cause fault or deformation)
To prevent sensor failure, please pay attention to the following items:

Add condiments after complete mixing and dissolution of the food.
(otherwise, it may cause insufficient cooking, such as half-cooked food)
To avoid peeling of or damage to the inner-wall coating of the cooker,
please pay attention to the following items:

Do not use metallic kitchen utensils (such as metallic ladle and cooking turner)

Use the steamed plate provided.

Do not wash rice in the cooker.

Do not hit the liner with hard object.
•
Do not place the pressure relief valve, nozzle or plug in the cooker.

Clean the inner pot immediately after use.

Do not use the inner pot as wash basin.
•
Do not place spoon or utensil inside the inner pot.

Use a soft sponge to scrub the inner pot.
•
Do not scrub the inner pot with polishing powder, steel wool or nylon wool.
Attentions

Even if the coating falls off, the cooker performance or the human body will not be affected.
Pan packing
Casting heater
Temperature sensor
Do not scrub
the inner pot
with abrasive
material.

Commercially-available timer is not allowed to be used. (it will not work)

5. Test Mode
Check whether the heater, sensor, inner pot, pot cover and seal ring are free from hit, deformation, damage or stuck
with foreign material, etc., whether the pressure relief valve is not clogged and whether the pressure indicator base
is not covered with foreign materials or dust. Please perform the test in a place where the cooker body is subject to
neither wind nor vibration.
