DISASSEMBLING PROCEDURE
• Referring to Fig. 1, remove two screws that secure the
Bottom Case and remove the Bottom Case from the
Upper Case.

• Referring to Fig. 2, pull out the Main Board and the Power
Board slightly while releasing the two hooks of the Upper
Case from the Upper Case.
• Disconnect the connector CN201 on the Main Board and
remove the Wire Ass'y of the Lithium Battery.
• Disconnect the connectors CN401 and CN402 on the
Main Board, and remove the Flexible Cables of the
Pan/Tilt Mechanical Ass'y.
• Disconnect the connector CN500 on the Main Board and
remove the Flexible Cable of the Camera Module Ass'y,
and remove the Main Board and the Power Board from
the Upper Case.

• Referring to Fig. 3, disconnect the connector CN105 on
the Main Board and remove the Power Board from the
Main Board.

• Referring to Fig. 4, remove the three screws that secure
the Pan/Tilt Mechanical Ass'y and remove the Pan/Tilt
Mechanical Ass'y and Dome Cover from the Upper Case.

• Referring to Fig. 5, remove the Camera Holding Plate of
the Pan/Tilt Mechanical Ass'y while releasing the hook of
the Pan/Tilt Mechanical Ass'y.
• Remove the Camera Module Ass'y from the Pan/Tilt
Mechanical Ass'y.

LITHIUM BATTERY REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
• Remove the Bottom Case from the Upper Case while
referring to the item DISASSEMBLING PROCEDURE
(Page 2).
• Referring to Fig. 6, disconnect the Wire Ass'y of the
Lithium Battery (BAT1) from CN201 on the Main Board.
• Remove the Lithium Battery (BAT1) from the Upper Case.

Note:
• The Lithium Battery life is approximately 5 years.
• After replacing the battery, time setup (year-month-
day hour:min:sec) is required.

TROUBLESHOOTING
• In this section the Troubleshooting of the Network Camera (WV-NM100) and the Network side are described for easy to find and
defective point.
1. Troubleshooting of the Network Side
Note: This troubleshooting is valid for only the Connection type 1 and 2 discribed in the Operating Instructions. 
As for the Connection type 3 and 4, proceed to the step 2. Confirmation of the Network Camera on page 5.
"ping" command
(1). Operate the Network PC by sequence of [start], [MS-
DOS Prompt], and start the MS-DOS Prompt
Window.
(2). Check the communication using the "ping" command.

Reply
• Network side operation has no problem if a reply
as shown in Table 1-1 is displayed when the
above command is entered from the Network
Camera.

No Reply
• In case the Network Camera gives no reply as
shown in Table 1-2 and 1-3, the Network Setup
of the PC is incorrect or the Ethernet Cable has
problem. Recheck the PC Setup (IP Address,
Subnet Mask etc,.).

2. Confirmation of the Network Camera
2-1. Connection and Reset Procedure
(1).Connect the Network Camera (WV-NM100) and the PC directly by using the Ethernet Cable (Category 5 Cross Cable).

(2).Reset the Network Camera. (All settings data return to the default settings.)
Note: It cannot be backup of the settings data. Before reseting the Network Camera, prease record to the Paper for keep the 
Setting Contents of the Network Setup Page.

• All settings return to the default settings when the AC Adapter is plugged into the Outlet while the Setting Reset Switch on the
Rear side of the Network Camera is pressed and kept pressed for 5 seconds or more after the plug is inserted.
Note: It will take around 2 minutes to reset all settings. Cannot be access to the Network Camera during the reset operation
and after the power is supplied.
(First, the Power LED is blinks around 80 seconds, and next, the panning and tilting of the Camera is operate around  
20 seconds. Can be access to the Network Camera after the above operation has been completed.)
• All HTML documents return to the default settings when the AC Adapter is plugged into the Outlet while the HTML Document
Initialization Switch on the Rear side of the Network Camera is pressed and kept pressed for 5 seconds or more after the plug
is inserted.
Note: It will take around 5 minutes to initialize all HTML documents. The power LED blinks during the initialization. It changes
to steady light after the initialization has been completed.
2-2. Network Setup Procedure of the PC
To set up the Network of the PC, first change the TCP/IP settings of the PC to match them to the default settings of the Network
Camera. The following are the default Network settings of the Network Camera.
• IP Address:
192.168.0.10
• Subnet Mask:
255.255.255.0
• Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
To access the Network Camera, the IP Address of the PC should be "192.168.0.XXX" (where XXX should be a number from 2 to
254 except 1 and 10). In case the IP Address of the Network Camera is set with the "Panasonic IP Setup" software, perform the
Network setting of the PC according to the Network environment.
The settings differ depending on which OS is installed on the PC. (Refer to page 6)
