5.6.2 TEST PROCEDURE
a)  For EUT power supply:
The surge is applied to the EUT power supply terminals via the capacitive coupling network. Decoupling
networks are required in order to avoid possible adverse effects on equipment not under test that may be
powered by the same lines, and to provide sufficient decoupling impedance to the surge wave. The power
cord between the EUT and the coupling/decoupling networks was shorter than 2 meters in length.
b)  For test applied to unshielded un-symmetrically operated interconnection lines of EUT: The surge was
applied to the lines via the capacitive coupling. The coupling / decoupling networks didn’t influence the
specified functional conditions of the EUT. The interconnection line between the EUT and the
coupling/decoupling networks was shorter than 2 meters in length.
c) For test applied to unshielded symmetrically operated interconnection / telecommunication lines of
EUT:The surge was applied to the lines via gas arrestors coupling. Test levels below the ignition point of
the coupling arrestor were not specified. The interconnection line between the EUT and the
coupling/decoupling networks was shorter than 2 meters in length.

5.7 INJECTED CURRENTS SUSCEPTIBILITY TEST
5.7.1 TEST SPECIFICATION
Basic Standard
EN 61000-4-6:2009
Frequency Range
0.15 MHz-80 MHz
Field Strength
3 V
Modulation
1 kHz,80% AM
Frequency Step

Dwell time
2s
5.7.2 TEST PROCEDURE
1)  Set up the EUT, CDN as shown on Section 5.7.3
2)  Let the EUT work in test mode and measure it.
3)   The EUT are placed on an insulating support 0.1m high above a ground reference plane. CDN
(coupling and decoupling device) is placed on the ground plane about 0.3m from EUT. Cables
between CDN and EUT are as short as possible, and their height above the ground reference
plane shall be between 30 and 50 mm (where possible).
4)  The disturbance signal described below is injected to EUT through CDN.
5)  The EUT operates within its operational mode(s) under intended climatic conditions after
power on.
6)  The frequency range is swept from 150 kHz to 80MHz using 3V signal level, and with the
disturbance signal 80% amplitude modulated with a 1 kHz sine wave.
7) The rate of sweep shall not exceed 1.5*10-3decades/s. Where the frequency is swept
incrementally, the step size shall not exceed 1% of the start and thereafter 1% of the preceding
frequency value.
8) Recording the EUT operating situation during compliance testing and decide the EUT
immunity criterion.
