EUT operation status: 

Keep EUT on transmitting mode by the software provided by 
manufacturer. 
Pretest the EUT at different transmission rate and report show 
the worst case data. 

     

Test channel: 

802.11b/g 
Lowest channel: (2412MHz),Highest channel: (2472MHz) 

Test condition: 

Normal and extreme test conditions. 

Test equipment used: 

Refer to section 3.4 

Test procedure: 

1.  Connect a low attenuation cable from the antenna port to the 

spectrum. 

2.  Set spectrum analyzer center frequency is centered on test 

channel; Set RBW and VBW = 100 kHz. Sweep = 

≥1 min. 

Span is wide enough to cover the complete power envelope 
of the signal of the EUT. Detector function = Average,. 
Trace = Max hold;  

3.  Find the cross point of limit and the trace. Save the trace. 

Remark:    

Pre-scan all the rate, found that:  
11Mbps of rate is the worst case of 802.11b;  
54Mbps of rate is the worst case of 802.11g ;
