Disassembly procedure for exchange of iPod connector PCB.
The Go+Play has been made with either one or two connecting cables to the 30-pin docking
connector.
Please refer to the photo series which matches the actual unit you are working on.
1.
Use an angled tool.
2.
Gently loosen and withdraw the cable sleeve(s) and cable(s), then insert the tool into the
hole that you now see.
3.
Now gently pull the plastic cover (with dock connector and PCB) up and out of the unit,
while at the same time carefully softening the glue with a heat-gun/hair dryer.
4.
Now you can exchange the iPod PCB.
