BATV (MAIN) BOARD AND
G11/G12 (POWER SUPPLY) BOARD REMOVAL
NOTES:
Refer to
“Handling the LVDS FFC Connector” on page 3
to disconnect the LVDS Connector.
The (G11) Insulation Sheets are not included with the LCD Panel and must be replaced when replacing the LCD Panel.
A Release 2 clips to detach Side Bracket from BATV Board
B Remove 5 screws from BATV Board
C Disconnect connectors from BATV Board
4 from XBR-65HX920 Only
5 from XBR-65HX929 Only

“Handling the LVDS FFC Connector” on page 3
)
D Remove 1 screw and disconnect 1 connector to detach Camera Module from Bottom Bracket
E Lift-up Camera Sealing Cap to detach from Bottom Bracket
F Release clips and disconnect 1 connector to detach HEM2 Board from Bottom Bracket
G Remove 1 screw, then release clips and lift-up Bottom Bracket to detach from Horizontal Bottom Frame
H Remove 5 screws and disconnect 5 connectors from G11 Board
I Remove 5 screws and disconnect 5 connectors from G12 Board

HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL FRAMES, HLT2 BOARD AND
LCD PANEL REMOVAL
CAUTIONS:
When replacing the LCD Panel Assembly refer to
“Rear Cover Caution” on page A-1
.
The HLT2 Board is attached to the LCD Panel with PWB (H) Tape. Do NOT damage the HLT2 Board when removing from
the LCD Panel.
A Remove 5 screws from Horizontal Top Frame
B Remove 3 screws from Vertical Right Frame
C Remove 3 screws from Vertical Left Frame
D Remove 6 screws from Horizontal Bottom Frame
D Remove 6 screws from Horizontal Bottom Frame
E Lift up Frames to detach from LCD Panel
F Remove 8 screws from Corner Joints to detach Frames
G Carefully lift-up HLT2 Board to detach from LCD Panel

CAUTION: When cleaning the TV, be sure to unplug the power cord to avoid any chance of electric shock.
Clean the cabinet of the TV with a dry soft cloth.
Wipe the LCD screen gently with a soft cloth.
Stubborn stains may be removed with a cloth slightly moistened with a solution of mild soap and warm water.
If using a chemically pretreated cloth, please follow the instruction provided on the package.
Never use strong solvents such as a thinner, alcohol or benzine for cleaning.
Periodic vacuuming of the ventilation openings is recommended to ensure to proper ventilation.
