REAR COVER REMOVAL
CAUTION:
The Rear Cover is securely attached to the Bezel with cloth tape at the edges. Refer to
“Appendix A - Removing the
Rear Cover” on page A-1
for additional illustrations that show how to remove the Rear Cover.
Do not damage the Power Board Connector or Power Supply Cord when removing the Rear Cover. Refer to
“Removing
the Power Cord From The Rear Cover” on page A-2
for complete instructions.
NOTES:
The Antenna Sheet (C EL), Antenna Cover (65), Label (BAT-V Rear) and Label (BAT-V Metal Side) are not included with
the Rear Cover and must be replaced when replacing the Rear Cover.
CAUTION:
The Rear Cover for this model has some sharp edges. Refer to the illustration in
“Rear Cover Caution” on
page A-1
for information when handling the Rear Cover.
A Remove 21 screws from Rear Cover
B Remove 1 screw from Terminal Area position
C Remove 4 screws from Rear Cover
D Remove 4 screws from Rear Cover
D Remove 4 screws from Rear Cover
E Remove 2 screws from Rear Cover
F Remove 1 screw from AC Cover
G Complete the following to remove the Rear Cover.

“Appendix A - Removing the Rear Cover” on page A-1
)
1. Using a small flat-head screwdriver, push the tab to the right to lift out the Wireless Antenna Cover located on the
bottom right side of the Rear Cover.
2. Using gloves or a cloth for protection against the sharp edges, grasp the corner of the Rear Cover from inside the
Wireless Antenna Cover and lift up. (Refer to
“Removing the Power Cord From The Rear Cover” on page A-2
)
3. After loosening the Rear Cover from the corner, you should be able to lift the bottom of the Rear Cover off of the
Bezel.
Use caution not to damage the AC cord when lifting the Rear Cover from the Bezel.
4. After lifting the bottom of the Rear Cover, grasp the AC Power Cord while continuing to lift up the Rear Cover.
CAUTION: Do not pull the AC Power Cord or damage the connector the Power Supply Board.
5. Disconnect the AC Power Cord connector to detach it from the Power Supply Board.
NOTE: To release the AC Power Cord from the Rear Cover, release the clips on the inside of the AC Cover to detach
it from the Rear Cover.
