SECTION 3 - REPAIR INFORMATION
REPAIRING THE TV
If the latest Software does not correct the issue, complete the following:
1. Verify the television has the symptom the customer indicated.
2. Replace part causing the error.
3. Install the latest version of Software (Required for ALL repairs).
4. Perform the required service adjustments and checks.
5. Verify the repair resolved the issue.
REMOVING THE TABLE-TOP STAND
NOTE:
In order to place the TV on a flat surface you will need: 3 Panel
Cushions (4-487-578-01) and 1 Cushion Support (4-487-577-01).
To remove the Rear Cover, refer to the next section.

1. Apply the 3 Panel Cushions on the areas marked located in the Cushion
Support.

Place Cushion Support on a flat surface and lay TV face down, as
shown.

3. Remove 4 screws from Table-Top Stand Assembly Right and Left and
pull down as shown to detach from Rear Cover.
REMOVING THE REAR COVER
NOTE:
The Rear Cover can be removed with or without the Table-top
Stand installed.
1. Locate gaps on the Rear Cover to detach Panel Ornament Right and
Left.
2. Using a small and narrow tool (ex. Fine screw driver), rotate as shown to
unhook Panel Ornament and pull from Rear Cover to remove.
3. Remove 1 screw from AC Cover and disconnect the AC Power Cord.
HOLD
4. Locate and remove all screws from the Rear Cover.
