OPTIONAL ADJUSTMENTS
All Sony TVs are set for optimal viewing performance. Refer to the following
instructions if the customer requests additional adjustments.
ENABLING VCOM TO ADJUST THE PICTURE
The VCOM adjustment displays a Green screen while you adjust the picture.
1.  Take the TV out of deep Standby mode by pressing
POWER
 
to turn on the TV.
2.  Press 
POWER
to turn the TV back off.
3.  Press the following buttons on the Remote Commander within a
second of each other:

a.  If adjustments are complete, exit
Service Mode by turning  
the TV power off.
b.  Proceed to 
Setting White Balance Adjustments.

White Balance adjustment data is located on the DIGITAL menu.

RESETTING THE TV TO FACTORY CONDITION
Use the following instructions to restore the User Adjustments and Channel
Memory settings to the preset Factory Conditions.
1.  Turn the TV On by pressing
POWER
, then wait approximately
40 to 60 seconds.
2.  While holding down   on the Remote Commander, press the
POWER
button on the side of the TV.
3.  The set restarts and displays the Initial Setup screen. This may
take several minutes.

RESETTING THE TV TO FACTORY CONDITION USING 
SERVICE MODE
1.  Take the TV out of deep Standby mode by pressing
POWER
to 
turn on the TV.
2.  Press 
POWER
to turn the TV back off.
3.  Press the following buttons on the Remote Commander within a
second of each other:

4.  If necessary, press

to go to DIGITAL menu.
5.  Press the following buttons on the Remote Commander within a
second of each other:

SERVICE changes to green RST.
RST executes the command and displays EXE.
EXE-RST displays green, then red indicating the TV is writing the
data.
6.  When the process is complete the green SERVICE text displays
and the LED display as shown below:

 Standby 
   POWER
7.  Cycle AC Power  
(Unplug and plug AC Cord from the AC Outlet).
The set restarts and displays the Initial Setup screen.  
This may take several minutes.
