2-2-2.  When Replacing the QA Board
n
If possible, take note the each value of the IRIS/OGMTable/Panel driver Gain B on the board before 
replacing.
1.  Change the IRIS data to the values of the IRIS adjustment data before replacement.
 
(For the method to change the IRIS data, refer to “2-4-1. IRIS”.)
 
In case if the data cannot be changed, perform the IRIS adjustment.
 
(For the IRIS adjustment, refer to “2-5. IRIS Adjustment”.)
2.  Obtain the former OGMTable data from the original QA board before replacement as follows.
 
(For the method of obtaining the former OGM Table data from the original QA board before replace-
ment, refer to “2-7-5. Data Obtain Method of the LookUpTable/3DGamma/ABGamma/DDC/OGM-
Table/CSMatrixTable Data from the Board”.)
 
Write down the obtained OGMTable data as follows.
 
(For the method of writing down the obtained OGMTable data, refer to “2-7-4. Data Write Method of 
LookUp Table/3DGamma/ABGamma/DDC/OGMTable/CSMatrixTable”.)
 
In case if the former OGMTable data cannot be obtained from the original QA board before replace-
ment, perform the W/B adjustment.
 
(For the W/B adjustment, refer to “2-3. White Balance Adjustment.)
3.  Return the Panel Driver/Gain B value back to its original value before the QA board is replaced.
 
(For the method of returning the above value to the original value, refer to “2-4-2. Panel Driver Gain 
B”.)
 
In case if the data cannot be changed, perform the Panel Driver Gain B Adjustment.
 
(For the method of Panel Driver Gain B Adjustment, refer to “2-6. Panel Driver Gain B Adjustment”.)
2-2-3.  When Replacing the C Board
Remove IC200 from the old C board and install it to the new C board before replacement.
2-2-4.  When the GA, GB, HA, HB, NF, QB, TL, U, or V Board is Replaced
No particular adjustments are needed.

Balance 
Adjustment
Preparation
Set Picture Mode to “Cinema” and make the following settings.
Contrast: 90
Bright: 50
Color: 50
Hue: 50
Gamma Correction: OFF
Advanced Iris: OFF
Lamp Control: High
Set each GAIN and each BIAS for RGB to 128.
Bring the ZOOM position of the lens to the center.
2-3-1.  High Mode of Video
1.  Set Color Temp to “High”.
2.  Input 1080/60i 20 IRE fl at fi eld (RGB 3 color) into the HDMI1 terminal and adjust BIAS of white 
balance for R and B until the chromaticity (x20, y20) satisfi es the specifi cation.
Specifi cation: (x20, y20) = (0.276 
?0.002, 0.288 ?0.002)
3.  Input 1080/60i 80 IRE fl at fi eld (RGB 3 color) into the HDMI1 terminal and adjust GAIN of white 
balance for B and G until the chromaticity (x80, y80) satisfi es the specifi cation.
Specifi cation: (x80, y80) = (0.276 
?0.002, 0.288 ?0.002)
4.  Repeat the adjustments at 80 IRE and 20 IRE until the each specifi cation is satisfi ed.
5.  Save the adjusted values.
2-3-2.  Middle Mode of Video
1.  Set Color Temp to “Middle”.
2.  Input 1080/60i 20 IRE fl at fi eld (RGB 3 color) into the HDMI1 terminal and adjust BIAS of white 
balance for R and B until the chromaticity (x20, y20) satisfi es the specifi cation.
Specifi cation: (x20, y20) = (0.294 
?0.002, 0.310 ?0.002)
3.  Input 1080/60i 80 IRE fl at fi eld (RGB 3 color) into the HDMI1 terminal and adjust GAIN of white 
balance for B and G until the chromaticity (x80, y80) satisfi es the specifi cation.
Specifi cation: (x80, y80) = (0.294 
?0.002, 0.310 ?0.002)
4.  Repeat the adjustments at 80 IRE and 20 IRE until the each specifi cation is satisfi ed.
5.  Save the adjusted values.

2-3-3.  Low Mode of Video
1.  Set Color Temp to “Low”.
2.  Input 1080/60i 20 IRE fl at fi eld (RGB 3 color) into the HDMI1 terminal and adjust BIAS of white 
balance for R and B until the chromaticity (x20, y20) satisfi es the specifi cation.
Specifi cation: (x20, y20) = (0.313 
?0.002, 0.329 ?0.002)
3.  Input 1080/60i 80 IRE fl at fi eld (RGB 3 color) into the HDMI1 terminal and adjust GAIN of white 
balance for B and G until the chromaticity (x80, y80) satisfi es the specifi cation.
Specifi cation: (x80, y80) = (0.313 
?0.002, 0.329 ?0.002)
4.  Repeat the adjustments at 80 IRE and 20 IRE until the each specifi cation is satisfi ed.
5.  Save the adjusted values.
2-3-4. Custom Setting
1.  Set Gain and Bias for CUSTOM 1 to 4 to the following values.
CUSTOM 1:  Copy the Gain and Bias values for High.
CUSTOM 2:  Copy the Gain and Bias values for Middle.
CUSTOM 3:  Copy the Gain and Bias values for Low.
CUSTOM 4:  Set the all Gain and Bias values for R/G/B to 128.
2.  Save the set values.
2-3-5.  Iris: Auto1/Manual Adjustment
1.  Switch the Iris mode to “Auto1. Manual”.
2.  Copy all of the white balance adjustment values (High, Middle, Low, and all of the Gain Bias values 
of CUSTOM1 through CUSTOM4) at Iris OFF, to the corresponding Iris mode values respectively. 
3.  Save the set value.

2-4.  Adjust Value Writing

When the adjust value to be written is unknown, perform the IRIS adjustment or panel driver gain B 
adjustment. (Refer to “2-5. IRIS Adjustment” or “2-6. Panel Driver Gain B Adjustment”.)
2-4-1. IRIS
1.  Enter the Service Mode. (Refer to “2-1-2. How to Enter the Service Mode”.)
2.  Set OTHER: 01 Iris/Adj in the Device Menu to 1.
3.  Change the value of OTHER: 02 Iris/Open Reg.
4.  Change the value of OTHER: 03 Iris/Close Reg.
5.  Return OTHER: 01 Iris/Adj in the Device Menu to 0.
6.  Perform “Save to Memory”.
2-4-2.  Panel Driver Gain B
1.  Enter the Service Mode. (Refer to “2-1-2. How to Enter the Service Mode”.)
2.  Change the value of Panel Driver: 03 P. Drv/Gain B in Device Menu.
3.  Perform “Save to Memory”.
2-5. IRIS 
Adjustment
(1)  Bring the ZOOM position of the lens to the center.
(2)  Input the XGA 60 Hz all white 100 IRE signal in INPUT-A.
(3)  Set “Other: 01 Iris/Adj” of Device Menu to 1.
(4)  Set the value of “Other: 02 Iris/Open Reg” to 1023, and check the value of “Other: 04 Iris/Open 
Hall”.
(5)  While decreasing the value of “Other: 02 Iris/Open Reg”, check the value of “Other: 04 Iris/Open 
Hall”.
(6)  When the value of “Other: 04 Iris/Open Hall” reaches the value of [step (4) value _25], check the 
value of “Other: 02 Iris/Open Reg”.
(7)  Save the value of “Other: 02 Iris/Open Reg” of step (6) in a memory.
(8)  Measure the luminance level at this time. [OFF Luminance]
(9)  Set the value of “Other: 03 Iris/Close Reg” equal to that of “Other: 02 Iris/Open Reg” of step (6).
(10) While decreasing the value of “Other: 03 Iris/Close Reg”, check the luminance level. Check the value 
of “Other: 03 Iris/Close Reg” when the luminance level reaches 25% of [OFF Luminance].
(11) Save the values of “Other: 03 Iris/Close Reg” of step (10) in a memory.
(12) Return the value of “Other: 01 Iris/Adj” to 0, and perform Save to Memory.
