Note on the IM Assy (FIX-2000) and the Front Chassis
When replacing the IM Assy (FIX-2000) and the Front chassis, select the shim to be used newly referring to the following
procedures.

Remove the IM omega unit (2000) and the three shims.

After replaced the IM Assy and Front chassis, measure the dimensions [B'] same as procedure 3.
5.
Calculate the dimension [A'] of new shim by using the formula below, and select the shim.
[A']=[A]+[B]-[B']
[A']=[A]+[B]-[B']

• [A]: shim dimension before replacement
• [A']: shim dimension to use newly
• [B]: the dimension between the surface of the screw hole before replacement and the surface of the E-Mount
• [B']: the dimension between the surface of the screw hole after replacement and the surface of the E-Mount
• [A']: shim dimension to use newly
• [B]: the dimension between the surface of the screw hole before replacement and the surface of the E-Mount
• [B']: the dimension between the surface of the screw hole after replacement and the surface of the E-Mount
6.
Assemble the IM omega unit (2000), using the selected shims.
7.
Perform the test shooting and confirm that nor blur is observed in the peripheral area of shot.

Prepare the resolving power check chart as following procedure.

Preparations
1.
Set the unit as shown below.
• Shooting mood: QFHD
• Bit rate: 100 mbps
• Iris: Release
• Bit rate: 100 mbps

Set up the unit as follows.
• Attach the Mount adaptor and 50 mm F1.4 α lens (SAL50F14) to the unit.
• Install this unit so that the shooting distance between the mount surface of the unit and the resolving power
