(2) Near Focus Adjustment
1)  Print out the Near Focus chart from the manual in A4 size, and attach 
it to the wall.
2)  Be sure to set 12 + 1cm distance between the Near Focus chart and 
the tip of camera lens.
3)  Check that the center of Near Focus chart meets the center of LCD 
display.
Color temperature = 5000 ± 300K
Luminance: LV9 to 11
Be sure not to turn off the power during adjusting.
The adjustment finished normally.

Place the camera in front of the Near Focus chart. (Fig. 5-2-6)

finished normally, the adjustment completion
indication appears on the screen. (Fig, 5-2-7)
The adjustment will proceed to “Right Far Focus
Adjustment” (Page 5-4), do not execute

In case of the “Right Near Focus Adjustment” is
finished normally, the adjustment completion
indication appears on the screen. (Fig, 5-2-8)
5-2-2. AWB Adjustment
 
(1) AWB Adjustment
The White Balance and Bad Pixel Adjustment is as follows.
Small pattern box (PTB-1450) setting: 
Color temperature = 3150 ± 50K
Luminance: LV12.3 ± 0.2
The adjustment finished normally.

5-2-3. 3D Adjustment
1)  To use the FS3-chart, print out 4 pages of FS3-chart in A3 size (by 
100%) from the manual, and make them in one page by matching 
the number of each fitting mark“
”.

2)  Attach the FS3-chart set above on the wall.
Note : • Make sure that the distance is 85 ± 1 cm between the FS3-chart and 
the tip of camera lens.
 
• Set the camera to make it face to the FS3-chart.
 
• Set the FS3-chart while confirming the LCD to make the green pane 
“ ”
 at the center of the chart match the center of the LCD.
Color temperature = 4000 to 7000K
Luminance: LV11 to 13

(2) Lens Shading Adjustment
When the indication (Fig. 5-2-16) appears on the LCD display, set the 
adjustment jig according to procedures shown below. (Fig. 5-2-17)
1)  Set the Light balance filter to make it cover the surfaces of both 
camera lenses.
2)  place the camera in front of the small pattern box.
 
The Lens Shading Adjustment order is as follows.

5-2-4. Bright Pixel Adjustment
The Bright Pixel Adjustment is as follows.
Note:
 
•  Perform this adjustment after that performed in “5-2-2. AWB Adjustment”.
(Page 5-5)
•  The Bright Pixel Adjustment proceeds automatically.
•  It may take more than 40 minutes to perform the Bright Pixel Adjustment 
due to the status of the camera (including more than 1 minutes for warming-
up, and more than 20 minutes for main adjustment). 
The adjustment finished normally.

The adjustments required when replacing Lens Unit
for MHS-FS3 are completed.
Remove the adjustment FW according to
procedures shown below.
1) Turn off the power of the camera.
2) Disconnect the USB extension cable from the USB
charge adaptor.
3) Connect the USB extension cable disconnected in
step 2) to PC.
4) Turn on the power of the camera.
5) Remove the SDV5095C.bin saved in the
“BLOGGIE_SW” root directory.
In case of the adjustment is finished normally,
the following indication appears on the screen.

In case of the adjustment is finished abnormally,
In case of the Bright Pixel Adjustment is failed,
after turning off the power of the camera,
restart the adjustment from the “5-2-2 AWB
Adjustment” (Page 5-5).
Press the
button (Key S1), then Bright Pixel Adjustment starts.
Connect the USB charging adaptor after the screen turned to that shown in Fig. 5-2-26.
The camera will automatically keep operating abnormally for more than 1 minutes during warming up.
Perform the adjustment from beginning if the screen got frozen.
The screen will light out for a few seconds, then turn to that shown in Fig. 5-2-27 and start the adjustment automatically.
After the automatic adjustment finished, the screen will turn to that shown in Fig. 5-2-28.
In case of “Over”, warming up will restart automatically.
In case of “Below”, it will proceed to the next step automatically.
The camera will automatically keep operating abnormally for more than 20 minutes
after the screen turned to that shown in Fig. 5-2-29.
Perform the adjustment from beginning if the screen got frozen.

5-2-6. Set Language Destination
Language Destination Setting:
Save “lang.txt” in the root directory of the removable disk named “BLOGGIE”.
The content of “lang.txt” is as follows: 
Language Destination (for example: 5_UC3) (enter key)
Product ID (10bit) (enter key) (refer to “5-3 PRODUCT ID LIST” (Page 5-9))
S/N (8bit) (enter key)
The following is an example of 5_UC3 Language Destination Setting for MHS-FS3 Black camera.

Especially Attention:
1)  The enter key must be the end symbol of each row.
2)  For the Product ID, refer to “5-3 PRODUCT ID LIST” (Page 5-9), and the Product ID must be 10bit.
 
If the Product ID is less than 10 bit, add 0 before the Product ID.
3)  The S/N must be 8 bit. It refer to the serial number of shipment.
The adjustment is finished abnormally.

5-2-5. 360 Adjustment (MHS-FS3K Only)
The 360 Adjustment is as follows.
Press and hold both sides of the 360 video lens (1), then attach it to the 
camera in the direction (2).
Note1:   Attach the hooks of the 360 video lens to the attaching parts of the 
camera, as shown in Fig. 5-2-33.
Note2:  When repairing the parts related to the lens module of MHS-FS3K.
• Ask the customer to send the 360 Video Lens with the unit.
• Perform 360 Adjustment with the 360 Video Lens sent from the 
customer.
