1) Clean the tape running side (tape guide, drum, capstan shaft,
pinch roller, etc.).

Adjusting Connectors
The measuring point of the playback RF signal is CN1014 of VC-
416 board. Connect the measuring instruments via the CPC-15 jig
(J-6082-564-A) and I/F unit for LANC control (J-6082-521-A).
Refer to “MECHANISM SECTION ADJUSTMENT” for the mea-
suring method. The following table lists the pin numbers and sig-
nal names of CN1014.
