1-4.  CHECKING THE Wi-Fi FUNCTION
Perform the following procedure to check the Wi-Fi function.
Required equipment: Windows personal computer with Wi-Fi interface
1.  Turn on the power of the unit.
2.  Perform the following operations for the unit.
 MENU→   →[Ctrl w/ Smartphone]→●
3.  The Ctrl w/ smartphone screen is displayed.
4.  When preparation for Wi-Fi has been completed, the “Running as an access point.” screen opens and a password for Wi-Fi connection is displayed.

5.  Confirm on the personal computer that the unit is detected as a connectable wireless network.
6.  To further confirm that the unit is connectable, connect the unit to the personal computer and double-click the “current connection” from the icon 
displayed on the notice field, make sure that the unit is displayed in the Wireless internet access column.
1-3.  NOTES FOR REPLACING THE EVF DISPLAY DEVICE (LCD902) OR THE AM-1004 BOARD
Adjustment values of each EVF display device (LCD902) are stored on the AM board.
Therefore, when the LCD902 or the AM board has been replaced, write WB adjustment values.

When LCD902 is replaced:
1.  Check and write down the adjustment values printed on the repairing EVF display device (LCD902) label.
2.  After the LCD902 has been replaced, execute “EVF Data Input” on the ADJUST tab by using the Adjust manual to write the adjustment values.
When replacing AM board (in case adjustment values can be read):
1.  In case the unrepaired unit starts and adjustment values can be read by using the Adjust manual, execute “ADJUSTMENT DATA BACKUP” on 
the DATA tab.
2.   After the AM board has been replaced with a AM board for repair, execute “ADJUSTMENT DATA BACKUP” on the DATA tab of the Adjust 
manual to write the extracted data to the unit.
When replacing AM board (in case adjustment values cannot be read):
Consult with each Head Quarters.

1-6.  METHOD FOR ADJUSTING THE TEBURE REVISE
Make sure to confirm below after replacing the AS Slider B Assy T or the AS Holder Actuator Assy.
(1)  Remove the CV Rear Cover Assy (880), temporally mount the AS Slider Unit (863) mounted with the Imager Sensor, and then set up the camera body 
and hold the AS Slider Unit (863) as shown in figure.
 
(2)  Select “Slider Unit Check” of the adjustment software, and then confirm if the result is OK.
(3)  Select “Tebure Revise Adj.” of the adjustment software, and then confirm if the result is OK.
(4)  Mount the AS Slider Unit (863) to the camera.
 
1-5.  METHOD FOR CHECKING THE AS SLIDER UNIT (863)
Make sure to confirm below before replacing the AS Slider B Assy T or the AS Holder Actuator Assy.
(1)  Remove the CV Rear Cover Assy (880), and temporally mount the AS Slider Unit (863).
(2)  Set the AS Slider Unit (863) upwards as shown in figure, and put it on a stable place.
 
(3)  Select “Slider Unit Check” of the adjustment software, and then confirm the movement to the directions of Pitch and Yaw, and if an error occurs, 
replace it with the component part corresponding to the movement.

1-7.  METHOD FOR REPLACING THE AS SLIDER B ASSY T
Removal Procedure
(1)  Remove the spring.

(2)  Remove the solder on the enamel wires at two places.

(5)  Remove the AS Unit Holder Ball.

(7)  Remove the Cap SPs (for Pitch and Yaw).

(8)  Remove the Caps (for Pitch and Yaw).

It can be done easily if A is removed beforehand.

(10)  Remove the AS Slider B Assy T.

(11)  Remove the three Ball Bearings.

Note: Make sure to perform the assembly procedures after assembling the AS Holder Actuator Assy.
The assembly procedure is the reverse of the removal procedure.
Apply grease to the portions indicated below.
 
* After applying grease, attach the Ball Bearings.

1-8.  METHOD FOR REPLACING THE AS HOLDER ACTUATOR ASSY
Removal Procedure
Note: Make sure to perform the removal procedures after removing the 
 
 AS Slider B Assy T.
(1)  Remove the solder on the enamel wires at two places.

(2)  Remove the flexible board from the hook on the AS Holder Actuator 
 Assy.

(3)  Remove the four screws to remove the AS Holder Actuator Assy.

Note: Make sure to perform the assembly procedures before assembling  
 
 the AS Slider B Assy T.
The assembly procedure is the reverse of the removal procedure.
Apply grease to the portions indicated below.

1-9.  NOTE ON REMOVING THE AP IRIS RING
If the AP Iris Ring is removed, the aperture charge cannot be retained. Therefore, after removing the AP Iris Ring, retain the charge in the procedure 
below.
(4) While keeping the pin inserted, remove the Ring Roller B and AP 
Ring Roller (C).

(5)  While keeping the pin inserted, remove the AP Iris Ring.

(1)  Rotate clockwise the AP Iris Ring as far as it goes.

(2)  Remove the MB A Mount and MB Ring SP COM, unscrewing six 
screws.

(3)  Insert the pin (approx. 1mm in diameter) through the hole of front 
frame and drop the tip of pin in the cut portion of AP Sensor Gear 
to fix the AP Sensor Gear.
