When problems occur while the unit is operating, the self-diagnosis func-
tion starts working, and displays on the LCD screen what to do.
Details of the self-diagnosis functions are provided in the Instruction 
manual.

When problems occur while the unit is operating, the LCD screen shows 
a 4-digit display consisting of an alphabet and numbers, which blinks at 
3.2 Hz. This 5-character display indicates the “repaired by:”, “block” in 
which the problem occurred, and “detailed code” of the problem.

When “FLASH error” (Self-diagnosis Code E : 91 : 01) occurs, to prevent any abnormal situation caused by high voltage, setting of the flash is changed 
automatically to disabling charge and flash setting.
After fixing, this setting needs to be deactivated. Flash error code can be on the HOME screen.

1-1.  防水/防塵・耐衝撃

1-1-1. 防水/防塵・耐衝撃性能

本機は防水/防塵性能、耐衝撃性能を備えてい
ますが、誤った使いかたによる故障は保証の対
象外になります。

•

  JIS保護等級IP58相当の防水/防塵性能があります。水

深5 m/60分までの撮影が可能です。

•

  高い水圧がかかることがあるため、水道などからの勢い

のある水を、直接あてないでください。

•

  温泉で使用しないでください。

•

  推奨動作温度−10℃から+40℃の水温でご使用くださ

い。

•

  MIL-STD  810F  Method  516.5-Shock  に準拠した

厚さ5  cmの合板上での1.5  ｍからの落下テストをクリ
アしています。*

*  すべての状態において、無破損・無故障・防水性能を

保証するものではありません。

•

  防塵・耐衝撃性能については、傷やへこみがつかないこ

とを保証するものではありません。

•

  落下などの強い衝撃を与えた場合は、防水性能を保証し

ません。修理相談窓口での点検をおすすめします（有料）。

•

  付属品は防水/防塵・耐衝撃仕様ではありません。

水中・水辺で使用する前のご注意

•

  砂、髪の毛、ほこりなどの異物を、バッテリー /メモリー

カードカバー、端子カバーに挟み込まないようにしてく
ださい。わずかな異物でも浸水の原因となります。

•

  防水パッキン、防水パッキンの当たる面に傷がついてい

ないことを確認してください。わずかな傷でも浸水の原
因になります。傷がついてしまった場合は、修理相談窓
口にご相談いただき、防水パッキンを交換してください

（有料)。

•

  防水パッキン、防水パッキンの当たる面にゴミや砂がつ

いているときは、繊維の残らない柔らかい布等で拭き
取ってください。傷をつけないために先の尖ったものは
使わないでください。

•

  水辺での使用中や、手に水や砂がついているときは、絶

対にバッテリー /メモリーカードカバー、 端子カバーの
開け閉めをしないでください。水や砂が本機の中に入っ
て故障の原因となります。カバーを開ける前に必ず、

「水

中・水辺で使用した後のお手入れ」を行ってください。

•

  完全に乾いた状態でカバーを開けてください。

•

  必ずバッテリー /メモリーカードカバー、端子カバーが

確実にロックされていることを確認してください。

水中・水辺で使用中のご注意

•

  画面上のアイコンに水滴がかかるとタッチパネルが反応

する場合があります、水辺での撮影時は、画面右側の

をタッチして画面のアイコンを非表示にすることを

おすすめします。もう一度アイコンを表示するには
を長押ししてください。

•

  水中ではタッチパネルを使用できません。撮影や再生は

本機のボタンで操作を行ってください。

•

  水中に飛び込むなど、カメラに衝撃を与えないでくださ

い。

•

  水中・水辺で、バッテリー /メモリーカードカバー、端

子カバーの開け閉めを行わないでください。

•

  水深5 mを超えるときは、別売のハウジング（マリンパッ

ク）を使用してください。

•

  本機は水中で沈みます。水没防止のためにリストスト

ラップをご使用ください。

•

  水中でのフラッシュ撮影時、浮遊物に反射してぼんやり

とした白く丸い点が発生することがあります。故障では
ありません。

•

  水中での撮影時に画像の歪みが気になる場合は、シー

ンセレクションで

(水中)モードに設定してください

（43ページ)。

•

  レンズに水滴等がついていると、きれいに撮影できない

ことがあります。

•

  砂が舞っている水中では、レンズカバーの開閉はしない

でください。

水中・水辺で使用した後のお手入れ

•

  使用後は60分以内で、バッテリー /メモリーカードカ

バー、 端子カバーを開ける前に必ず水洗いしてくださ
い。見えないところに水や砂が入り込んでいることがあ
り、塩、砂等を付着したままにしておくと防水性能が劣
化します。

•

  容器にためた真水に5分程度つけ置いてから、水の中で

本体を揺すったり、各ボタンやズームレバー、レンズカ
バーを動かして、ボタンやレンズカバーのすきまに入っ
た塩、砂等をしっかりと洗い流してください。

•

  洗ったあと、柔らかい布で水滴を拭き取り、風通しの良

い日陰で充分に乾かしてください。ドライヤーの熱風で
乾燥させると、変形により、防水性能が劣化するおそれ
があるため行わないでください。

•

  本機は水抜き構造となっており、電源ボタンやズームレ

バーなどのすきまに入った水が外に出てきます。水につ
けたあとは、しばらく乾いた布の上に本機を立てて置き、
水を抜いてください。

•

  水につけた際には泡が出ることがありますが、故障では

ありません。

•

  日焼け止めやサンオイルが付着すると、カメラの表面が

変色することがあります。付着させてしまった場合は速
やかに拭き取ってください。

•

  塩水に浸した状態や塩水が付着した状態で放置しないで

ください。腐食や変色、防水性能の劣化の原因になりま
す。

•

  防水性能を維持するために、1年に1回はお買い上げ時

の販売店か修理相談窓口にご相談いただき、バッテリー
/メモリーカードカバー、端子カバーの防水パッキンを
交換することをおすすめします（有料）。

画面に表示されるメッセージ
について

バッテリーやメモリーカードを交換すると、本体画面上
に、下記のようなメッセージが、毎回*表示されます。

“水中・水辺でご使用の際は矢印のカバー部に異物・破損

が無いことを確認ししっかりと閉めてから[OK]を押して
ください”
これは、本体の異常を意味するメッセージではありませ
ん。
防水機能を保つ上でご使用前にご確認いただきたい内容
を表示しております。
メッセージの表示されているエリアをタッチして、メッ
セージを消してからご使用ください。
* 再生モードでは表示されません。

Note:

・ キャビネットパッキンにゴミが付着した状態で組み立てると、水

漏れの原因になります。

  ゴミの付着が無いことを確認して組み立ててください。

・ 接着紙が確実に貼り付けられていないと、水漏れの原因になりま

す。

  接着紙貼り付けの時のしわ、接着紙へのゴミの付着が無いこと、

貼り付け時の圧着を確実に行ってください。
