Remove the BT board

Note 1: When the BT board is replaced, be sure to replace the VOL 
knob assy simultaneously. (Except IND and IND2)
Note 2: When the BT board is replaced, Bluetooth information writ-
ing is necessary. Refer to “BLUETOOTH INFORMATION 
WRITING METHOD” on page 6. (Except IND and IND2)
Note 3: When the BT board is replaced, replaced old BT board is de-
stroyed with the hammer, and throw out it.

SECTION  4
ELECTRICAL  ADJUSTMENT
MONITOR  SECTION
If any of the following parts was replaced, execute the “Flicker 
Adjustment” as mentioned below.
•  CHASSIS MAIN ASSY (Including MAIN board)
•  FRONT PANEL ASSY (Including LCD module, Touch panel)
•  COMPLETE KEY BOARD
Preparation:
•  Remote commander (RM-X170)
FLICKER  ADJUSTMENT
1.  Turn the power on, and perform the aging more than fi ve min-
utes.
2.  In the state of source off (Home screen is displayed), pressing 
the buttons on the remote commander in order of the [4] 
→ [5] 
→ [4] (press only the [4] button for two seconds).
 
The test mode 4 starts, and the following screen is displayed on 
the monitor.
 
(Displayed colors/values in the following fi gure are example)

3. Press the [B] button on the remote commander to set the 
“PAT_SEL:9”.
4. Press the [b] button on the remote commander to set the 
“SWAP:0”.
5.  Press the [V] or [v] button on the remote commander to adjust 
so that the fl icker becomes minimum in the sight.
 
(There is a point most suitable in the range of VCOM:045 to 
VCOM:090)
 
The relation between the fl icker and the adjustment value has 
the characteristic such as the following fi gure.

6.  Press the [PUSH SOURCE/ VOICE] button on the main unit, 
and turn the power off.

Note 1: When the complete BT board (Ref. No. 6) or VOL 
knob assy (Ref. No. NFC1) are replaced, Bluetooth 
information writing is necessary. Refer to “BLUE-
TOOTH INFORMATION WRITING METHOD” 
on page 6. (Except IND and IND2)
Note 2: When the complete KEY board (Ref. No. 3), chassis 
main assy (Ref. No. CHA1) or front panel assy (Ref. 
No. FP1) are replaced, refer to “FLICKER ADJUST-
MENT” on page 22.
Note 3: When the complete BT board (Ref. No. 6) is re-
placed, replaced old complete BT board is destroyed 
with the hammer, and throw out it.
Note 4: When the chassis main assy (Ref. No. CHA1) is replaced, re-
fer to “DESTINATION SETTING METHOD” on page 4.
Note 5: When the complete BT board (Ref. No. 6) is replaced, be sure 
to replace the VOL knob assy (Ref. No. NFC1) simultane-
ously. (Except IND and IND2)
