UPDATE OF SOFTWARE OF IC6302 ON THE A-VIDEO
BOARD, IC3601 ON THE D-VIDEO BOARD, IC2501
ON THE CONTROL BOARD AND IC763 ON THE DIS-
PLAY BOARD
Perform operation of the following when the update of software
of the IC6302 on the A-VIDEO board, IC3601 on the D-VIDEO
board, IC2501 on the CONTROL board and IC763 on the DIS-
PLAY board are necessary.

NOTE OF REPLACING THE IC2239 ON THE D-AUDIO
BOARD AND THE COMPLETE D-AUDIO BOARD
(AEP and UK models only)
When this unit is connected with PC, this unit is recognized as a
USB audio device on PC. At this time, the manufacture maker’s
information, etc. (USB descriptor) are transmitted to PC from this
unit. The USB descriptor is stored in the IC2239 on the D-AUDIO
board, and it is written in at the factory.
When the IC2239 on the D-AUDIO board or the complete D-AU-
DIO board are exchanged, do the following work.

When this unit is connected with PC, this unit is recognized as a

9. After about 2 seconds, the writing of the USB descriptor to the
IC2239 on the D-AUDIO board is completed.

1. Open the Device Manager of windows on PC.
2. Expand the “Sound, video and game controllers”, and right-

CAPACITOR ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE PROCESSING
When checking the board, for the electric shock prevention, con-
nect the resistors to both ends of respective capacitors (C905 on
the ACDC board) to discharge the capacitors (C905 on the ACD-
Cboard).
