IMPORTANT
DESTINATION  SETTING
The destination information isn’t written in the ARAGON-MOTHER 
board for the service.
Therefore, when the complete ARAGON-MOTHER board is re-
placed, be sure to perform the destination setting. (Important work)
Note 1: The initial setting destination of t
he ARAGON-MOTHER 
board for the service 
is “LA”
. The message “D LATIN” is 
displayed on the fl uorescent indicator tube.
Note 2: When distinguishing the destination of the product, refer to the 
“MODEL IDENTIFICATION”
.
Note 3: If destination setting isn’t performed, it is possibility to occur the 
defect to each operation of this unit.
Procedure:
1.  Press two buttons of the [SOUND FIELD] and [S4 TUNING 
+ >] simultaneously for more than ten seconds during the 
demonstration mode.
2.  It enters the destination setting mode, the message “D LATIN” is 
displayed on the fl uorescent indicator tube.
 Note 
4: If the message “DEST LOCK” is displayed on the fl uores-
cent indicator tube, press the [ENTER] button to release from 
this mode. Because the destination is locked, and it cannot 
change the destination.

4.  Press the [S2 
 +]/[S1 – 
] buttons to select target destina-
tion, and press the [ENTER] button.
5.  The message “RESET” is displayed on the fl uorescent  indica-
tor tube, then start the initialization (power off (demonstration 
mode) 
→ power on → power off (demonstration mode)) auto-
matically.
 Note 
5:  Don’t disconnect the power-supply cord during the initializa-
tion.

6.  When the initialization is completed, the destination change is 
completed.
7.  When checking the setting destination, refer to the “PANEL TEST 
MODE” on page 41.

ADVANCE  PREPARATION  WHEN  CONFIRMING  OP-
ERATION
All of the units included in the MHC-GT5D (SA-WGT5D/SS-
GT5DB/Remote control) are required to confi rming operation of 
SA-WGT5D. Check in advance that you have all of the units.
CHECKING  THE  OPERATION  AFTER  REPAIR
After repair completion, connect the “iPod”, “Walkman”, “smart-
phone” etc. corresponding to this unit, and check the operation of 
playback, recording, charge, etc.
NOTE  OF  REPLACING  THE  SW-PARTY-LED  BOARD
When the SW-PARTY-LED board is defective, replace the com-
plete mounted board.
NOTE  OF  REPLACING  THE  SW-RGB-LED-L  BOARD
When the SW-RGB-LED-L board is defective, replace the com-
plete mounted board.
NOTE  OF  REPLACING  THE  SW-RGB-LED-R  BOARD
When the SW-RGB-LED-R board is defective, replace the com-
plete mounted board.
NOTE  OF  REPLACING  THE  MS-476  BOARD
When the MS-476 board is defective, replace the LOADING 
COMPLETE ASSY (T) (Ref. No. CDM1).
NOTE  OF  REPLACING  THE  IC104  TO  IC106,  IC402  TO  
IC404  ON  THE  ARAGON-MOTHER  BOARD
IC104 to IC106, IC402 to IC404 on the ARAGON-MOTHER 
board cannot replace with single. When these parts are damaged, 
replace the complete mounted board.
NOTE  OF  REPLACING  THE  IC2004,  IC2005  AND 
 
IC2501  ON  THE  D-AMP  BOARD
IC2004, IC2005 and IC2501 on the D-AMP board cannot replace 
with single. When these parts are damaged, replace the complete 
mounted board.
NOTE  OF  REPLACING  THE  IC002  ON  THE  POWER 
BOARD
IC002 on the POWER board cannot replace with single. When this 
part is damaged, replace the complete mounted board.

NOTE  OF  REPLACING  THE  COMPLETE  ARAGON-
MOTHER  BOARD,  BLUETOOTH  MODULE  AND  NFC  
MODULE (RC-S730)
When the complete ARAGON-MOTHER board, Bluetooth mod-
ule (Ref. No. BT1) or NFC module (RC-S730) (Ref. No. NFC1) 
are replaced, it is necessary to check that pairing is normally per-
formed.
Perform the operation check according to the following procedure.
Note: Be sure to delete paring information after checking the pairing.
1.  Connection Check of Bluetooth Device
1-1. Connection Method
Procedure:
1.  Press the [
?/1
] button to turn the power on.
2.  Place the Bluetooth device within 1 meter from this unit.
3.  Press the [FUNCTION] button to turn the “BLUETOOTH” 
function.
4.  Press the [  PAIRING BLUETOOTH] button for more than 
two seconds, and enter the pairing mode.
 
It enters the pairing mode, the message “PAIRING” is blinked 
on the fl uorescent indicator tube.

5.  Perform the pairing on the Bluetooth device, and detect this 
unit.
 Note 
1: For details, refer to the operating instructions of Bluetooth 
device. Depending on the kind of Bluetooth device, the list 
of the detected devices is displayed on the screen of the Blue-
tooth device. This unit is displayed as “MHC-GT5D”.
6.  Select the “MHC-GT5D” on the screen of the Bluetooth de-
vice.
 Note 
2:  When the “MHC-GT5D” is not displayed on the screen of the 
Bluetooth device, repeat from step 1.
 
     
If passkey etc. is required on the Bluetooth device, enter 
“0000”.
7.  When the pairing is completed, connected Bluetooth device 
name is displayed on the fl uorescent indicator tube.
8.  Start the playing in the Bluetooth device.
 Note 
3: For details, refer to the operating instructions of Bluetooth 
device.
1-2.  Canceling Method the Pairing Operation
After step 4, press the [  PAIRING BLUETOOTH] button for 
more than two seconds until the message “BLUETOOTH” is dis-
played on the fl uorescent indicator tube.
1-3.  Connection Releasing Method
Press the [  PAIRING BLUETOOTH] button.
2.  NFC Connection Check of Smartphone
2-1. Necessary Equipment
•   NFC-compatible smartphone
 Note 
1: If the NFC-compatible smartphone has an OS version that 
is older than Android 4.1.x, download and install the “NFC 
Easy Connect” application.
2-2. Connection Method
Procedure:
1.  Turn on the NFC function of the smartphone.
2.  If the NFC-compatible smartphone has an OS version that is 
older than Android 4.1.x, start t
he “NFC Easy Connect” applica-
tion
.
3.  Press the [
?/1
] button to turn the power on.
4.  Touch the smartphone to the N-Mark on this unit.
5.  When the NFC connection is completed, connected smart-
phone name is displayed on the fl uorescent indicator tube.
6.  Start the playing in the smartphone.
 Note 
2: For details, refer to the operating instructions of smartphone.
2-3.  Connection Releasing Method
Touch the smartphone to the N-Mark on this unit again.
3.  Deletion of Pairing Information
Perform the “COLD RESET” on page 40.

BOND  FIXATION  OF  ELECTRICAL  PARTS
When switching regulator (SSN-152AD) (Ref. No. SWR1) or the 
following parts are replaced, fi x the electrical parts by using the 
bond (SC608Z2) (Refer to the fi gure below).
