SECTION  3
TEST  MODE
1.  SETTING  THE  TEST  MODE
Note: Test mode is impossible when battery voltage is not enough.
 
  Do work using the battery with suffi cient battery level.
Setting method:
1.  Equip this unit with battery.
2.  Slide the [HOLD•POWER ON/OFF] switch in the direction of 
“POWER” until the window display appears.
3.  Slide the [HOLD•POWER ON/OFF] switch to “HOLD OFF” 
(center).
4.  While pressing the [
x
] and [VOL –] keys, slide the [HOLD•POWER 
ON/OFF] switch in the direction of “HOLD”.

5.  The test mode menu is displayed, and enter the test mode. Re-
lease the [

] and [VOL –] keys.

4.  OPERATION  OF  THE  TEST  MODE
4-1. VERSION
Model name, destination, fi rmware version, initial language, 
charge function, card function, radio function, eMMC maker code 
eMMC capacity, IPL2 version and CPU version,  can be confi rmed.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.
2.  Press the [

] or [

] keys to select the “VERSION”, and 
press the [PLAY/STOP

 ENTER] key.
3.  Model name, destination and fi rmware version are displayed 
on page 1/3 of LCD display. Press the [

] key, initial lan-
guage, charge function, card function, radio function, eMMC 
maker code and eMMC capacity are displayed on page 2/3 of 
LCD display. Press the [

] key, IPL2 version and CPU ver-
sion are displayed on page 3/3 of LCD display.

4-2. KEY CHECK
Operation of keys and switches can be checked, and this unit can 
return to the factory shipment settings.
Note 1: It cannot move to other modes from this mode.
Procedure:
1.  Enter the test mode.
2. Press

] keys to select the “KEY CHECK”, 
and press the [PLAY/STOP

 ENTER] key.
3.  Whenever any keys of this unit are pressed or any switches of 
this unit are slid, the button count decreases.
