4.  Sin test
•  A sine wave output is produced.

•  During operation, change the setting by using the following

•  Other operation by the headphone jack insert/extract signal is 
based on the operation of the set.
•  Press the [

5.  Beep test
•  Beep sound of 1.3 kHz is output.

•  Adjust the LCD contrast.

8.  RTC test
•  Perform the self test of the RTC module.

•  At power-on, optionally an R/W test on the clock register is set 
and either an interrupt updated by the second or a 1-sec fi xed-
cycle interrupt to the RTC module is set. And it is verifi ed that 
the interrupt signal is produced.
•  If an interrupt occurs in between 0.9 and 1.1 second after the 
interrupt is enabled to the timer on the main side, it is deter-
mined to be OK.
•  If no interrupt occurs after the elapse of 2 seconds, a timeout is 
set and it is determined to be NG.
•  Press the [

9.  BATT A/D
•  The A/D values related to voltage and temperature are ob-
tained.

10. ZLOAD test
•  A battery load check is forcedly executed.

•  Operation of the FM tuner is checked.

IC register is obtained and compared.

receiver sensitivity is indicated.
 
Receiver sensitivity: Register 0 Ah bit [7:0]

14. Key Count test
•  The count value is indicated for the key slide switch endurance 
test.

•  The count value is increased by 1 each time the following sig-
nal change is detected after power-on. The type of a key slide 
switch pressed is not discriminated.
•  All buttons (Also the production of the WakeUP signal is 
checked.)
•  Operate all the slide switches from ON to OFF and then OFF 
to ON.
•  Card insertion signal (Plus 1 only when the card is inserted.)
•  HP/MIC jack detection signal (Plus 1 only when the jack is 
inserted.)

Upper limit value: 99999
•  If a key is pressed when the counter arrives at the upper limit 
of 99999, it is get back to 00000 and continues the count-up 
operation.

15. Sleep test
•  A transition to the sleep state is made for measurement of the 
standby current.

•  A transition to SLEEP state selection is made after power-on.
 
[PLAY]:  The mode is determined. A transition to SLEEP is

•  To exit this mode, disconnect power (unplug the battery.)
•  When the WakeUP signal is detected, the system is rebooted.
16. BATT Lift test
•  A result of measurement made through the battery life mea-
surement F/W is indicated on the LCD.
•  It is impossible to check this in service because the measure-
ment FW is required.
17. CHG LOG test
•  A log for charging held in the SRAM is copied to the eMMC.
